All have marks capped, all dual wielding archers knifes and have beetle rings+1
have all 3 spam sleep bolts, and cycle through SA. After 1 thf sa's it, he disengages and spams sleep bolts while another thf SA. continue till its dead.

If you decide to go the brute force method, Bitoso effectively has around 6200 - 6300 hp, including hp restored by his Cures before he runs out of magic.
Really easy BCNM. Beat it in 5 min 5 secs
with 3 BLM
1. We all went up to it and either cast Water II
or Firaga on it at the same time.
2. Then we all cast sleep on it.
3. While asleep we'd Aspir it for more mp.
4. Repeat and rinse, casting paralyna on self as
necessary. Only got to Aspir after every second
time that we cast sleep.
Never did get its mp to zero, but didn't really
need to.
If the drops were any indication of how easy
it was, in two runs we just got 2 silk thread,
Trimmer's Earring, Beater's Earring, Magic Finale
and a Sardonyx. Pretty yucky.

I'll tell you the perfect set up every time and it is a guaranteed simple win. You get 1rng/nin, 1rng/whm, 1drk/nin. everyone has archers knives for +rng acc with a zambuark+1 and sleep bolts. everyone spams sleep bolts nonstop, when drk gets tp he goes and busts in with tp while rngs keep firing bolts. if you get paralyzed the rng/whm casts parlyna and gets rid of it. it also helps if the rng/nin switches to great bow +1 and uses barrage for high dmg and then switches back to xbow. Also you can replace the rng/whm with a blm and spam firaga and down goes bitoso.

This really pisses me off...My RL fiancee and I were bored in-game so we decided to try this sucker. We did the 3 BLM method. Invited a BLM from his LS.
I had bought Yagudo Drinks, but he was rushing me, so I forgot them in MogHouse while doing some "house cleaning" (cleaning out some old items). We enter, buff up. I run up and sleep it. We position ourselves and spread out. Aspir & Sleep many times...then we start:
Firaga > Sleep > Aspir (repeat)
We didnt even put a dent in him cause we werent well organized. We all died...
We did 3 more rounds with a DIFFERENT BLM from my LS. She was much better. Followed the method, and we did the EXACT SAME THING as last fight (with many drinks this time) We kill him...and get sent out of the battlefield....WTF??????
No treasure, nada...We must have taken like 14:59.9 minutes...because the only thing we can make out of it is we killed him as out time was up and it did not register. So we figure "We did it once, let's try again."
#3: Got its HP less than half time ran out.
#4: Got its HP down to about 1/4 -no drinks left and low MP. So we all MANAFONT the **** out of him...and he has about 1/18 HP...time runs out.
So our method worked, but due to lack of communication and some Sleep spells not sticking we wasted some time. It just sucks that the one time we killed it we got nothing. And then we try twice more...only to run out of time.
3 BLM setup is a very good good method, but with all the Aspiring it is VERY time consuming.
Also, record time on Quetzalcoatl is around 6min.

Me (Nin/War) and 2 LS friends (Blm/Whm and Whm/Smn)just got wasted twice trying to do it. Aspir was taking to long and my Shadows couldnt stay up cause of his aga spell. Gonna try it with Rngs next.

u know, this is a very easy BCNM, all u ave to do is to take 3 RNG all of them with sleep bolts (lots of them too), and there u are, a Bitoso dead and 3 rng happy ^^

i just tryed this, with camped magic all of it and +16 int i used Sleep and it didnt even stick for 10secs, i dont understand how u can do it ><

*WE WERE ENGAGED!!! Such a stupid idea. Don't know why we did that.
My advice - Max marksmanship. Prepare! Plan out what you are ging to do no matter what party. One of our problems was we couldn't really hurt it more than it healed, so use macros to say whos gona go for a Damage Deal, so the others will keep this ugly brute anesthetised.
I really want a Genin earring its worth 660,000 on Cerberus at Jeuno! But I think I might wear mine ^_^ (sub nin)

Have done this guy over 20 times. Lost the first 8 times trying to figure out a strat and have won the last 12 or so in a row. Anyways, 3 BLM totally kill this thing. Tried the Aspir trick at first but didn't like the clear times of 10-14 minutes.
Anyways, here's a vid of the strat we use.

As for party setups, I think any combination of 2 jobs that can sleep reliably will work. I've done it with 2 blm and a summoner, 2 blm and rdm, and we've seen it done with thfs, rngs, and drk. Even did it once with Andruk (in the vid) once with just 2 blm (Elvaan too^^). Strat is all the same. Deal damage then sleep and repeat.
I prefer the 3 blm though because no costs whatsoever and can do it all night until you run out of seals. No juices, no bolts, no 2-hour. Heck you might even be able to do 3 fights on the same pie. With my terrible luck on the drops (2 silk threads, myrthril ore, hi-potion on one orb), it's nice that it's free for us to do.
Also, we hold the Valefor server record of 2:32^^

Hi all!
Does anyone know if ole Bitsy has any kind of uber resistance to Silence? The reason that I ask is that I and some LS friends of mine are considering giving this a shot as Blm/Whm, Whm/Blm, and War/Mnk.
Also, is all the Sleep/Aspir spamming primarily to reduce the damage he's dealing, or to prevent him from curing himself?
Just noticed the note in his stats . . . ><

The Blm with nin subbed would go in cast firga and then I would shoot with with sleep bolts. The we all aspired it and both blm used firga again and i slept it. Aspir Firga Sleep and so on. The blm subbed nin because I do miss now and again with my bolts so he would have shadows up.

Maybe ... if SMN used 2-hour and the others aspired it a lot, first. I'm not a big fan of the Aspir method ... far too slow. Good luck!
