I just duo'd this as 72PLD/NIN with a 75BLU/NIN buddy. It ate shadows like mad and it was kinda challenging. We figured early on that we'd go with him spamming Head Butt and me tanking. That didn't go as planned cuz he had hate from doing Head Butt every 4 seconds.
So after we died from him wiping, then me, we decided to do something different. I went and popped him, Flash kited him back to the zone, slowly. I got in at least four flashes. Then we started fighting him. Around 15 percent he got behind me and I Covered and Invincibled while he spammed it to death.
Items used: RR Gorget, just in case, a couple Yag Drinks, lotsa Shihei.

Solo'd as thf/nin after thf/dnc failed due to TP drain(of course anytime you are in danger of dying, a mob's acc receives a boost of 300,000,000% and it's ability to crit boosts by 500,000,000% /sarcoff I lost my TP and he proceeded to land three crits in a row which had me using Perfect Dodge and running to zone) He got one hit on me for 450 crit as /nin, HP down was few and far between to be any threat. +46 eva in gear + 10 eva skill in gear + 285 eva skill overall.
I just duo'd this guy with a brd as my cure. He wasn't that easy but not hard either. The brd didn't have to do much. Only needed a few cure 3's. People saying he hit hard, but he only hit me for 200 at the most. Paralyze and slow worked extremely well. I kept dia on him at all times, with ice spikes on, and enfire as well. I blind also helped. If you stay fully buffed you should have no prob as 75RDM/37NIN.
P.S Use savage blade every chance you get. he is weak to light so I was getting a good 400 off him with that. Lost tp many times so get ws off asap.

Soloed as 75BST/37WHM. I brought 4 CC jugs and no pet food because I wasn't paying attention. Buffed up called CC and waited out timer. First one took it down about 10 percent called the second crab and got busy running to the zone. Started throwing birds at it, and they lasted a surprisingly good time, as did the leeches. All in all a fun fight, make sure to pop him at the crack of dawn to allow time for the fight and CS afterwards. I finished up shortly before the undead popped and after the CS got aggro, I did manage to charm a bird and put it on the two and log out with 35 HP XD...

Took me two tries but I did it.
First time, things were going smooth, generic DOT/bind/grav kite method.
Didnt see a resisted Bind, and got pwnd hard.
He uses these ranged TP moves called Barbed Crescent, hits for around 200, I think, about 2 will take down a weak Stoneskin, but shadows from Blink (spell) catch it pretty reliably (capped enhancing, if that matters)
Kited it near the zone to the city right there, near the lake, and back down to near where he popped. Was real fun, about the first thing Ive soloed that was hard.
He hits really hard melee, for like 300-400. Keep up haste, and only use bind or gravity. MAKE SURE ONE RECAST IS ALWAYS UP!
He does not build Gravity resistance, but It seemed like he did build Bind, or was really resistant in general.

first time we failed because of a macro ***** up but we beat him up second time
at first i tried to solo as rdm/nin but he was harder then i anticipated... although im sure he can be solo'd DoT straight up tankin as rdm/nin would be somewhat tough
he was harder then i originally anticipated but with 2 rdm/nin we worked him over, it was a fun fight
for what its worth ^^

Was a pretty easy fight. I Headed out to him as soon as the sun came up.
Didn't wanna mess with the undead.
Got CS and popped him.
There are 3 Bird spawns you can use as pets.... just swap them before
they die so the can Regen back and you can repeat using them.
This guy hits hard. So you need to use all 3 to swap.
The Imps don't come near you at all... so there is no agro and the fight went very smoothly. Just Swap.. fight.... swap... fight....
Took about 12 swaps and he crumpled. Hit me once.
Keep those shadows up... and all is good.
WHM sub could do it too, with stoneskin

not sure why this should be, as he should be dark based, but this guy is insane on firesday.

fight 1 : darksday - got him to about 5% then wiped through mistakes/mp ran out
fights 2, 3, 4 : firesday - never got him below 50%, was critting me (pld in some relic) for 400-600. just stupid.

fight 2 : earthsday. easy life. crits never above 200. fought him at zone and ran to nomad moogle for quick heal once while bst threw pets at him, then took him down without many problems.
hope this is useful. like people say this guy would be cake with a 70+ pt or slow solo by bst or smn (i was too impatient to do this), but don't assume that it's an easy solo/duo it just cos you're 75 ^^

Duoed with 2x 70BST/WHM. Easily done with just a hint of challenge to make it interesting.
We both called a Funguar Familiar/Courier Carrie before spawning him. We then pulled him out of the graveyard area to eliminate the risk of undead and imp aggro. Good thing I spawned him during the day because he got me into yellow HP with one good hit. After he killed the jugpets, we both started using the Marsh Murres.
This is probably soloable once you're high enough of a level to reliably charm the Murres but it's risky doing it alone since chances are you're going to get smacked around pretty good during pet swaps. Just make sure to Leave your pet before they die or they won't repop fast enough.
Oh yeah, you only need to fight him once for the whole party. We thought we were going to have to do it twice since after he was dead, my partner got the pre-spawn cutscene but a second click did result in the final cutscene without respawning the NM.

Um... i didnt think so seemed hard to me. Hit me for 300+ a shot (75 WAR+73WHM) we were dead in 30 sec or less. Maybe easy it you dont get hit <NIN BST SMN> but not if he hits you bring help.
