The mob names are actually Ranch Wamouracampa (14) and Ranch Wamoura (2).
0/2 on this Assault with BLU/NIN, MNK/WAR, RDM/WHM, SAM/WAR, and THF/RNG (for widescan).
Can take out the wamouracampas easily, especially if our RDM is quick to dispel heat barrier (blaze spikes do about 40-50+ dmg/hit), but the wamouras are really tough to take down. We brought down both every time we've done it, but it takes too long to keep everyone alive and prepping for the fights, so we end up running out of time.
Manaburning this would be pretty much out of the question. There are far too many wamouracampa to just nuke your way through. Our RDM tries to conserve on MP but still has to convert midway through. Any rest taken is time that should be spent killing, and if you're not killing, you're probably going to run out of time.
Bringing 2 BLMs, a RDM, and 3 melee should be a good mix. BLMs conserve MP till the wamoura, melee take out the wamouracampa, and zerg the wamoura when you find them. Widescan is also recommended because mobs are not always in the same place.
EDIT: I should clarify what I meant about not being able to manaburn it...the area is much too large to have someone pull mobs to a camp, so you have to roam. There is NO time for mages to rest except during fights because as soon as a fight's over, you have to be on the move to the next mob. It takes at LEAST 10 minutes of just travel time to get to the last mob, which leaves another 15 to fight and 5 to run back to the rune (flee is a help here, but a NIN with AF feet would be better...flee wears about 1/4 of the way to the rune).
