runeforging (wow)

The profession Runeforging allows a Death Knight to emblazon their weapon with runes. These runes give the weapon different spell abilities based on the type of Rune used. From an aesthetic point of view, they also give the Death Knight's weapon a nice glowing effect, with a different color based on the type of rune used.

To forge a weapon with a rune, the Deathknight must be in a location that has a Runeforge, such as Ebon Hold. Once at the forge, the Death Knight chooses which rune to use, targets their weapon and begins the process.
