* (star key at keypad)If a target is selected, it will lock or unlock from target. If no target is selected you will rest to heal.
Ctrl + A or Alt + AToggles attack mode. Start attack & Stop attack

Chat Commands
/chatmode
/cm
Shows your current chat mode. If you wish to change the chat mode use "/chatmode sub command". For the sub command "/chatmode party" would change your deafult chat mode to Party mode.
/emUser created emotes. To use type /em whatever. and it would show up as "You whatever"
/linkshell

Speak to Linkshell member
/party

Speak to Party member

Speak to everyone around you, short distance
/shout

Speak to everyone around you, far distanc
/tellSpeak to a specific player in the same world. "/tell x", x would be the player name.

Breaks the current linkshell you are using.

Poll Commands
/nominate
/propose
Asks a poll. Proper way to use the command, Example:
/nominate say Are you enjoying FFXI Online? Yes No"
would show.
[Are you enjoying FFXI Online?]
1: Yes
2: No
If you wish to ask the party it would be '/nominate party "Are you enjoying FFXI Online?" Yes No'. The possible sub commands are Say, Shout, Party, Linkshell
You may have upto 8 answers for the choices.
/vote In a example like:
[Are.you.enjoying.ffxi.online?]
1: Yes
2: No
You would use "/vote 1" to choose Yes or "/vote 2" to choose No
Party / Alliance Commands (Only leaders may use the command)

Sub commands, use "/alliancecmd sub command"
Add x Adds the a party to alliance, x is the leader of another party.
Leave Take only your party out of the alliance
Kick x Kick a party out of alliance, x is the leader of another party
Breakup Alliance is broken. All party will break alliance
/decline Refuse a party or alliance invitation

Sub command, use "/invite sub command"
On Opens for party invitation
Off Closes for party invitation
If you do not use sub command it will toggle between On and Off.
/join Accepts a Party or Alliance invitation. Party or Alliance will be formed

Sub command, use "/partycmd sub command"
Add x Invite a user to join your party
Leave Leave the current party
Kick x Kick a member out of the party
Breakup Party will be broken up. All members will be back to solo play

Moogle House Commands
/bank You will open the moogle house storage window.
/garden Brings up the seed cultivating menu.
/layout Brings up the layout menu.
/tribune Read the Vanadiel Tribune Newspaper
Search Commands
/search
/sea
Sub commands, use "/search sub command".
linkshell Searchs current area for LinkShell members
name x x is the player name.
race x x is the player's race. (Hum, Elv, Tar, Mit, Gal)
level x x is the player level.
rank x x is the rank number. (1-6)
home x x is the player home town name. (San, Bas, Win)
area x x is the area name.
job x x is the job type. (WAR, MNK, WHM, BLM, RDM, THF, DRK, PLD, BRD, BST, RNG)
- Sorts in descending order
* It is possible to search with multiple sub commands.
Example 1: "/search Hum WAR" -> Search the current area for any Hume Warrior.
Example 2: "/search all WAR" -> Search the entire world for Warrior
Example 3: "/sea inv WHM" -> Search the current area for any White Mage who is looking for a party.
Example 4: "/sea all 16-20 Tar" -> Search the entire world for level 16 to 20 Taru Tarus.
Example 5: "/sea -level" -> Shows everyone in current area in order of their level from Highest and down.
System Commands
/? List of command summary
/? x Using command with x, where x is command name. It will give you detailed description of the command.
/anon It will toggle between On & Off. When it is On. Your character name will show in Blue character and Detailed Profile will be hidden.
/blacklist x y
/blist x y
x is the sub command, "Add" or "Delete". y is the player name you wish to add or delete.
/clock Time on Earth and the Time in Vanadiel is shown. The time on earth is obviously Japan Time.
/datafile You may read the on-line data documentation. (You will be seated for 30 sec before you can access the datafile menu)
/friendlist

Opens the Friend List menu.
/keyitem Opens the Key/Main/Important Items menu.
/map Opens Map window
/quest Opens Quest window
/mission Opens Mission window
/name x Sub command x is "On" or "Off". On indicates player names over the players'. Off eliminates the names over players'.
/playtime
/playlog
Shows the time played since your character started.
/pol You will return to PlayOnline Viewer. (You will be seated for 30 sec before you can access PlayOnline Viewer)
/random Rolls a Dice and random number from 2-998 will be picked out.
/regionmap
/rmap
Shows the Region Map and Region information window.
/servmes
/smes
Recalls the last System Message that was announced.
/supportdesk Opens Support Desk window
/ver Version of the current Final Fantasy XI will be displayed.
Battle Commands
/autotarget "/autotarget x" where x is "On" or "Off"
When On, while in battle if another hostile monster shows up it will automatically switch target to the monster.
/assist
/as
Target a enemy that your Party member is attacking.
/attack
/a
"/attack x" where x is "On" or "Off"
On - Start Battle
Off - Cancel Battle
When no sub command is used it will Start the battle.
/attackchange Changes target
/attackoff Attacking mode is cancelled
/help
/h
Makes the target monster attackable by anyone. No experience will be given to anyone.

Does the range attack to enemy depending on what you have in as Range weapon.
Pet Commands
<pethp> Shows your pet's current HP.
<pettp> Shows your pet's current TP.
Play Commands
/follow Automatically follows the current target.
/check

Inspect the target
/fish Start Fishing
/heal Seats down for recovery
/lockon Lock on a target
/target <stpc> Set target to target PCs only.
/target <stnpc> Set target to target NPCs only.
/target <lastt> Set target to last target.
/target <lastst> Set target to last subtarget.
/target <bt> Set target to mob you/party is in battle with (name MUST be in red for this to work).

Where name is the name of the magic and target is the name of the target you wish to use the magic on.For target you may use "" for the current target you are pointing at or "" or your character.

Where name is the name of the song and target is the name of the target you wish to use the magic on.For target you may use "" for the current target you are pointing at or "" or your character.

Where name is the name of the jobability.
