I droped in here while i was doing a quest, it aggroed me, I kiled it and got the shield.. this was before I even knew what an NM was.

the bettles are place takers and you need to kill them to get him to spawn.

From the Map, it looks like Howlblade spawns on the bottom level of the refiner where all the beetles are...but all I ever see are beetles there. Are the beetles a place holder for him, does he spawn near the beetles, or does he spawn up top near the refiner lid?

He does spawn on the lower level with the beetles, I don't think the beetles are placeholders 'cause I've seen him with 4 or 5 around him before. I think he's on a timer.

Today I killed for first time. Dropped Marine Shield. Worth 5-10k depending on demand on Ragnarok. ^^

I want to know how to get Howlblade to appear? Do i need to lure him, Kill all the Quadav's or is there a certain time that he appears?

Be careful when dealing with this one. It has the ability to cast Mighty Strikes on itself

That would be what Job:Warrior means, he has the Warrior's 2hr. He also has Warcry. But he's easy enough to kill, even at level 16 or so I was defeating him w/o his really being able to touch me
