0/1, Vivian won;; Raising now, just to inform everyone.. His bad breath is NOT an range line attack wich I thought, its AoE with insane range, always slow,silence,gravity,bind,blind,paralyze, I missed any?
His HP is soo extremly low but bad breath kills you, he hit me 75RNG for 210, not to bad..

I saw a level 73 RDM with this ring on.

UPDATE: Just saw another person (another RDM lvl 75) with this wonderful ring.

Should there be a merc group out there on Caisith, I'd be willing to discuss using your service to obtain this ring (on a guaranteed basis).

IBHalliwell - Someday, maybe, I'll get the drop (of this ring)

I am a 71 brd on fairy, i just saw this ring on a Rdm buddy of mine...Dear god this is a great ring for an ELVAAN bard...rings for bards (well this bard and the ones that i know) get rotated fast depending on any given party to make up for any deficiencies) 50 mps coming from a ring alone would be a god send simply cauz at 71/35 whm without gear i am at 132 mps lol...with gear/food i currently max out at 300-350 that ring would punch it up to 350-400. Thats and extra curaga (pretty much) to keep things going for one more fight...a chain 6-7...repeatedly... serket currently goes for 5-7 million on fairy right now... our economy sucks ...only way to say it ... a free 50 mp ring would be sweet... time to get the hnm ls in gear... i wish ... still gonna a cost me a few free bcnm's but hey...this is worth it...

True... But at RDM62, my stoneskin can hold out over 200 dmg, if i /equip all the right stuff. Even if i dont use my +5MND/INT wand, its still over 200 dmg.

ohh, and i'd take a rdm's stoneskin over whm's. Enhancing Magic plays a bigger role than MND does. and +MND is a heck of a lot cheaper than +enhancing

My LS just killed this beast 2 days ago on our way to Fafnir... btw we claimed and slaughtered Nidhogg a couple hours later. ^^ It's just like any other HNM just takes time and skill to kill. Just a couple things for all you hopefuls... This is a 21-24hour lotto spawn, with the overgrown rose by the dragon's aery entrance being the placeholder. And as for the drop... Good luck! It's about as common a drop as Kraken Club. We got one though.

Personally, I would wear this over a serket, but I woulden't wear bolth. I'm a smn, and the lvl 71 rare/exe ring is so much better for smn's than bolth of these. Avitar perpetuation -1 is a god send. But I would deffenetly wear this over serket, for the mnd +1 and int +1, AND THE LOOK. I mean come on, if you wore that, you would be a pimp ^^

Ok, I'm a Galka Monk (Meat bag) but, with that equipment on, a Taru SMN could get hit about as well as I did at level 9, at 50, I have about 50% more HP (1,212)than a Taru SMN has at 75(About 750) I wouldn't really sugest a Taru SMN using all of that, unless you enjoy having the fortitude of a large misquito. i know I'm kind of lower level compared to alot of you guys (We're not worthy!) but, I hope ya can see the wisdom of not having so little HP you can be felled by a strong wind ^-^

This is so true, this the only reason I don't plan on getting it until 75. Right now at lvl 61, I have 500~ MP. with this and the serket ring, I'd have 400~ HP but 1110 MP. It's tooootally not worth it at all. I just hit the 1000 mark on mp a level ago or something.

Dont think you can solo it,this guy has "draw in" like most hnms,meaning if you try to run away from it,it will kind of suck you back in to the room.And its 2hr is wise reflection,spam breath attacks which causes every ailment,very wide AOE attack.

Could a lvl 75 BST solo this? How often does it spawn, I don't think many people go after it, especially if it's level 85. I remember I saw it somewhere in a second map of the tree, we would've gotten slaughtered @_@.

and int is overrated for blm when you hit 75 and realize that you're getting a whole extra 2-3 damage per nuke for 1 int...you'll find out fast that mag. atk. bonus is the key stat and when you've got 100+ int anyway you're gonna want some extra mp to go the distance during god fights.

ok so for the first fight of the entire party you have an extra 50mp... after that totally useless. as a blm i NEVER get a chance to rest to full, so this is truely worthless to me. also as it was stated, it sort of mean and selfish to lot on this over a whm or smn who really could use it as endgame equip.

Try to think past your closed-mindedness for a second. You don't eat MP food thinking that you're only going to be full MP at the beginning of your party. You use it because you know you have a bigger MP pool to work with. Even if you only stay at 75% of mp, 75% of 900 is more that 75% of 850.

As a RDM I use serket + ether rings + republic gold medal. That gives me 130 MP at start of battle. It's perfect for the first 3 refreshes or hastes. I then macro-equip my mnd/int rings depending on what enfeeble I'm casting. When I convert, I put these back on. Same goes for when I play BLM. I macro my ether/astral with eremite+1's. Easiest way I've found to do this is with 2 macros. One is for resting:

Heal (ALT+0)
/equip main "Pluto's Staff"
/equip neck "Rep.Gold Medal"
/equip L.ring "Serket Ring"
/equip R.ring "Ether Ring"
/equip waist "Hierarch's Belt"
/heal

When I get up I do a few refreshes/hastes. Then when my enfeebling starts I do:

Step 1:
/equip main "Mythic Wand +1"
/equip waist "Penitent's Rope"
/equip neck "Enfeebling Torque"
/ma "Dia II" <t>
/wait 4
/echo --- Start Step 2 --------

Then each additional enfeeble has the appropriate staff/rings equipped in. This way, every time you heal you already start with the MP gear, but you don't need to use them when you get up if you're not full.
