i'm 60 rdm/blm...i still get 18mp/tic even though i should be getting the blm clear mind 2 stacking from level 30 sub with my 60 rdm which got it at 53.
I don't know if they took stacking out or what, but it doesn't happen.

To put it into simple terms as to why the trait does not appear as "Clear Mind 2"; that is simply because it is not an ability called "Clear Mind 2", but it is just an upgrade of the original "Clear Mind" that appears in your job traits list.
The same rule applies for ninja's job trait "Dual Wield", because at lvl 25 it gets an upgrade but remains appears as "Dual Wield". I hope that clears something up.
I really think job traits like this should be listed under one listing instead of naming their upgraded versions. Its the same job trait just it gets increased.

The reason we don't do this, is because the database won't like me if I name two things with the same name.
Seems to be 2 Clear Mind IIs one the site already, 2nd one's shown as SMN only for some reason.

RDM gets this ability at lvl 53, at the highest, as show by a test by a friend of mine.
It is a known fact that WHMs get Clear Mind II at lvl 35, and get Clear Mind III at lvl 50, so since her WHM only has Clear Mind II and her RDM is getting the same MP / tic no matter the subjob, you can clearly see that RDMs get Clear Mind II at lvl 53 (at highest).

Tested as a RDM 54/ BLM 25 and I WAS getting back 18mp base per tick.
So either RDM gts Clear Mind 2 somewhere betweeen 49 and 54, or they changed the way stacking works and suddenly we are getting the first bonus from sub stacking...

Let's say you're a 75RDM/37BLM. Would I get the Clear Mind I trait twice and the Clear Mind II upgrade twice? Or do I only get the traits once? If you do get them then that would mean you would have a base Mana regen rate of 24 MP per tic. Anyone know whether this happens or not?
NM, I missed the last little blurb at the bottom of your post, Ninja. :)
It will NOT show up on your passive traits. It is a hidden boost. As of 48, with RDM/BLM I did not have Clear Mind 2 (tested).
As to getting a raise every 15 levels... maybe for BLM, but not for RDM.
Finally, regarding stacking from sub jobs, it has been said on the RDM FAW that Clear Mind 1 from your sub will *NOT* stack with your main CM1, but Clear Mind *2* *WILL* stack.

I have a lvl 67 blm and i am unable to see Clear Mind II, It still just says Clear Mind...Anyone know what is wrong?

Actually, Clear Mind II kicks in at 53rd level for a Red Mage... I'm already getting the benefits of it.

You will not actually see Clear Mind II in your list, but at 35 you will start regening at 18 mana per tick instead of 15. You will also have less lag between first sitting and that first tick.
This is not accurate. I am a lvl 36 WHM and Clear Mind II does not appear as an ability. I can see Clear Mind but not Clear Mind II as a passive ability

i think these II, III, and IV traits are more a virtual term, clear mind increases in effect every 15th level after getting it, but not sure you get to see it in the trait list. red mage might get this too at level 45, though i haven't hit 45 with red mage yet to confirm.
does summoner get this at 30 too?
Yes, SMN gets Clear Mind II, and Max MP Boost II at level 30. All of the SMN Clear Minds are at the same level of BLM, these are the only two jobs currently in-game that get all of the Clear Minds before anyone else.
erm , my summoner got Clear mind at lvl 15 so i presume its the same as blm?
