A funny thing happened last night while camping a giant fort in the Great Divide. I was a little bored with "the Hole" and didn't have a lot of time to grind exp after my "double" exp ran out, so I headed to a zone where I could fool around with easy mobs.

A ranger came up to me and he had a funny name with a underscore between his first and last name. He was roleplaying and stated that he was looking for velium weapons to fill an order and any help would be appreciated. I said "NP" since the weapons are poor on the Tribute Point table. Didn't think much of the guy until I did a /who command and realized that he was not on the list of people in the zone. I checked 4 times to make sure.

I wasn't going to make a stink about it. It really didn't bother me but then someone started asking the same questions over the general chat about this guy. Nothing ever came of it and I logged shortly thereafter. Just kinda strange.

Was he a GM? Or is there someway to disguise yourself and hide from the /who command?

I gave him one Velium Weapon but apparently he was talking to another high level toon.

He accepted it in a trade and I went back to killing giants. Had to log shortly thereafter so never heard back from him. He was probably busy dealing with all the toons that were trying to hail him.
