THE REASON YOU CANNOT CONNECTFollow

Hey Everyone,

Just got off the phone with SE tech support. I was frusterated that I couldn't log into the game. The tech told me that about an hour ago a router in Japan affecting the United States just experienced some issues. I thought i would pass on the information.

OMG I thought I was going to freak out and go on some killing rampage!

Thanks for telling us what the problem is. Did they say how long it will take to fix?

Just want to say thank you to Heena for the update... I don't know what I'd do without this forum to shed some light on the situation.

For the first hour or so I could get on the playonline site, with the exception of the ssecure support area which didn't respond. I understand that the support phone number would be busy and don't stress that I couldn't get through there. But on the wesite main Server Status page or in News for the hour or so that was up, I just wonder why they couldn't have posted a brief situation report?!?!

it probably effected everyone outside of japan

that router not only directs to US but also global as well, it must be
I guess that router is the "gateway" to foreign countries
so if that router is having problem, all the "foreign" route is
gonna be "bad"

Yes me and another i have noticed both are in England and cannot get on also.

I can manage to get through all the login process ok, but hangs right before it should.... wait... nm

Hey man, thanks for the technical explination about the routers. LOL. All he mentioned to me was the US connection problems, didn't know about Europe =/

i can get all the way logged in but it does the error thing and d/c's ... on my pc.... but ; ; on my ps2... i log my self in and the screen goes blank and all i can here is the water at siren .... ; ; ima try again but.. im going thru sum bad withdrawl...... ahhhh!
