what was the last part of the fortune, maybe trade an item to it as I stated i a couple posts above that correlates with the advice given, and make sure you have the correct title.

btw, 100 bucks says the reward for this is the weapon that, when paired with Virtue Stone, gives Double Attack.

Or maybe the virtue stone itself?

This thread is very interesting! I love riddles. As soon as my update finishes in about 35 minutes I will go to Mhaura and try this out!

going out on a limb here, but maybe the last advice is suggesting an item that needs to be traded to the runes.

Hippograph feater
Gil
Weapon
Apple Pie
Gold Ore/Ingot
Etc.

Only problem with that idea is what item would you trade for the Black clue about parties ending?
I'm not trying to shoot you down, im just putting some ideas out there before a wave of people spend cash on expensive things like gold ingots and go rushing out there.

Good point, didn't think of that one. Party Egg maybe?

Maybe each one is different type of requirement. You need a party to activate the one you mentioned, or be in a party, then disband in the zone before touching it. Maybe the apple pie one you have to eat a pie before touching it. Just shots in the dark here, since no one has figured it out yet.

I don't think the reward is the virtune stone, given that certain new items have been introduced into the game with have the word "virtue" in them, and appear to be related to Lumorian monsters. I suspect the actual Virtue Stone comes from there.

WOOT! confirmation that element is tied to day.
But also, what was your partner's stats? What clues did he have when you got that? or did he not have quest accepted at all?

So this means that the Color is associated with the day of the week.

And the Direction is the Direction of the area where the Rune Stone is found.

Keep em comin!

On another note, does anyone remember a Quest/Mission that allows you to remove the EX from an item? Something to do with the Royal Matchmaker thing for weddings...

Perhaps the fortune aspect of this is that it will allow you to remove the EX from specific items to sell - IE: Empress Hairpin, remove the EX and it becomes Emperor's Hairpin. Just a thought, and probably dead wrong.

If none of that crystal stuff worked, you could try going back to talk to the npc twilight. she might give you a new clue.

Also do we have an agent searching zi'tah? dont forget about the off map areas like sam flag quest and cerment headstone^^;

Matchmaker quest gave you two ex rings... i forget what theyre called, but they were lvl1 and had no stats iirc.

And as far as i know theres no way to remove an ex tag on something.

Actually I was thinking that the meadows rune would be West Northwest more, and the Xarcarbard just being Northwest (unless there is confirmation that "far" and "great distance" are two seperate sayings and not different due to people's memories.

People who track this thread are pretty meticulous about details. I think "Far" and "Great distance" are indeed two different locations.

A gram of gold has exactly the same number of electrons, protons and neutrons as a gram of lead.

I don't intend this to be mean-spirited, and I admit in advance I'm being nitpicky, but you're (at least partially) wrong. Bust out a periodic table, and you'll see that the ratio of protons to neutrons in gold is 79:118, whereas the ratio of protons to neutrons in lead is 82:105.2. Hence, a gram of lead will have more protons.

Your statement is true, however, if you're referring to the # of protons and neutrons total in each hypothetical gram (the weight of electrons being negligible).

Has anyone checked Batalla Down's Island? I hate that location however everything else seems to be there in that zone. (The Island or in the area accessable from the glacier).

actually it was picked up on early in the thread but we all stopped paying attention to th prverbs since theyre also tied directly to the element, which is of more significance
