I think thats supposed to represent the lone wolf type theory of Cloud throughout the movie. I think it could be Fenrir as an allusion to cloud. Because cloud's motorcycle was called Fenrir and he had a wolf thing on his arm. So it kind of connects sort of.

I think the wolf partially represents Zack (and by extension, Aeris) reaching out to aid Cloud, since most of the sightings occur in areas of importance (where Zack died) or when Cloud is remembering Zack.

I'd have to agree on the accuracy. The characters do have some great personalities.

BTW, anyone actually think Cloud died in the end. I mean, that's what everyone says, but I guess it wasn't very clear cut for a reason. It just seems to me the picture at the end (after the credits) sort of says he's still alive. And the way Sephiroth dies makes me believe, if they ever decided to, they could make another sequal. =P

Aeris most certainly is NOT Jenova, lol. But it was hilarous because Kadaj thought and insisted she was. Remember what she says? "I don't need a kid as big as this one!" :p
I don't think Cloud actually died at the end, but whether he did or not Aeris still managed to help him out anyway.

Well if Cloud died, he obviously revived or something in the end. Unless the whole FFVII: AC cast was on drugs and started talking to the water and all the kids in the water made a circle around nothing.
