Heyo peeps. Well we have seen a lot of people who want to play Blue Mage, it is really popular. Corsair sparked a fair amount of interest but not as much as Blue Mage, so what about Puppestmaster?!
I think it looks cool but cant see myself playing it, oh and is it just me or does it go without saying that it is mainly gonna be another support job? Maybe solo?

hah, I would be totally blown away if that is the case, but i'll be playing it regardless of what kind of job it is. I just have a warm place in my heart for any job with a pet.

Why wouldn't you play a new job? Although... I am sure there are a lot of people who will just unlock it and then never play it.
I am curious if you would get any benefits from going PPM/BST or BST/PPM... or would one be of no use... (side note: I never played as a BST subbed, so I have no clue if you can even Charm anything as sub)
Interesting question: Since I am one of the first people to reply to this thread... I am going to ask the OP how he got an EXCELLENT rating (also only 85ish posts) on the thread when no one has even replied to the thread before I started to type...
His question wasn't all that outstanding or even merits a "good" rating yet.
Just curious. (I am only asking because I dont know if there is some sort of thread rating system that carries over from other posts)

I will, once it's released i'll stop playing WoW.
I didnt mean I wouldnt play it, the cool looking puppet (reminds me of Mars Attacks!) alone would make me lvl it up a bit :D

How can you say your going to play the job when you dont even know what it does or what role it plays?
mainly because it's as easy as "1. buying expansion 2. doing quest 3. clicking change job". I when i mean play I mean try out till level 10-11 before i think it like it.

I was thinking this excact same thing, if you have differant style puppets to summon, perhaps one that could tank if your PT has no tank or a DD if you need one..etc...etc... Guess we just have to wait for SE to say somthing more.

I really can't say until after I hear about how this job will work.
If this is ffxi's mime then definitely, otherwise I will need to see how it works before I decide.
Or this job could really work like the MIME job only renamed to PuppetMaster. Your puppet could mimic the moves of your enemies maybe and you would "control" it...
I dunno just throwing ideas out there :D

You can Charm with /BST, but you can only have one pet-type out at once. Hence you can't have more than one of pet, wyvern or avatar at the same time, or multiples thereof, although you can also have an npc.
I already play all the jobs, I'll definitely start playing the news ones too. Each and every one. I can't keep myself busy enough. . .
I'm gonna play Puppetmaster... and Blue Mage... and Corsair (If It's not too expensive). I'm psyched about the new expansion and all of the new abilities... I can't wait to try them all out
Bluemage sounds like a lot of fun for me. I might play Corsair depending on exactly how all the gambling techniques work.
As for Puppetmaster... It's going to have to be damn good for me to play it. The idea just doesn't appeal to me. If it's a mimic class it might be worth a look. If it's a tank class, I'll be happy, but I won't play it (I think we need a new tank class, but I don't like playing tanks). The only info we have on it right now is that it's the fourth pet class. That just seems boring to me.

From what I have seen of Blue mage so far and remember from previous games I really want to play that. Corsair will be another expensive job to level like nin and rng and the idea of it does not really appeal to me anyway. I like what I saw of puppetmaster but that is very little atm so its hard to say.

Concept alone. Just the other day I was bouncing the idea of a doll-using mage to a friend of mine for a tabletop RP game we're going to run.
Always been a fan of enchanters (animationists?) although this puppet looks very mechanical. Still, it looks very cool to me and I intend on unlocking it ASAP upon ToA release.

depends. You could always ask an Admin if they have ratebots however remember the old saying about people that live in glass houses, shouldn't toss stones.
As for Puppetear....Im a Bard and Whm, I think Puppetear may end up being the new refresh ***** (refresha t 20)
