amen, fight the power! That seems kind of odd, hopefully you have a shot of the text or whatever, but ya thats for sure not right if you told the truth.

Don't they log all chats going on between GM<->player though, thus eliminating the need for screenshots? Just give the time, date, and name of GM, and they can look up all the info they need to investigate this wrongdoing further....

There would be a log of this on your computer, under the temp folder. If you've been unable to play it should still be there. Use the Find feature to scan the files for a word you used, or whatever the GM's name was.

Prove it with the logs or you're just another disgruntled player caught by a GM.

I'm sure they do keep records of GM convos, but it would still be nice to have a credible method of obtaining said proof for yourself instead of relying on SE to provide it when you're calling one of their employees into question *shrug*
That's probably just me being paranoid after having worked at an ISP for several years that had an HR department that fell all over themselves to back middle-management on *anything*, be it an internal complaint or outside, customer complaint.

As a side note, even if that is a legit phone number to SE, I don't think it's really in great taste to post it here since some people have more balls than brains when it comes to taking action and harassing *whoever* picks up at the other end of the line...besides, someone just posted a thread in System Feedback pointing out the phone number posted here and requesting it be removed

EDIT: cool, nice to know there is a local file store for things like that...shows how much I look into game files other than pol.exe

Nor does it make sense. This whole thread doesn't make any sense. You claim you called a GM for botters, and you yourself got banned for "botting?" Then you say the "ouch" came after HE slapped you, when in fact the GM said ouch, and you said "wrong person." It may be because I'm sick and a tad delerious, but this doesn't make any sense to me.

I never knew there was log files.. I did lose one when I logged in with my other account, but it was log 1. and this stuff didn't start til 5. so I might have them all..

As much of you all.. I was shocked.. the only run ins I had with GM was when I fell off a ship and landed in the ocean and GM sent me a tell saying something around

"You aren't wearing the right armor to swim are you? here let's get you dried off"

{Hmmmm.} It doesn't sound likely, but I'm going to believe you. I have no reason not to, but in the past, [GM]s have had no problem with me, but eh, whatcha gonna do?

Whether or not you were in the wrong in any way, I know that if I had a customer service employee working for me and they treated a customer like that, I'd dump them on their *** on the curb so fast it wouldn't be funny. (after having the proper paper trail in place, as E-link was so damned good at creating...oops, did I say their name outloud? oh well, they outsource almost everything to India now anyways - their current ad campaign with nice cookie-cutter American employees is total BS btw)
