My chocobo is no longer lovesick. I believe your chocobo can become lovesick when set to exercise in a group. Unfortunately for me I had it set to do that only 1 day. I rotate between that, exercise alone and delivering packages. Anyway, today was its first day back at exercise in a group and after I got the exercise in a group cs the trainer said my chocobo was better. I believe in order to fix the lovesickness it needs to exercise in a group again. Some people had this problem and it resolved itself the next day. I suspect that they had more than 1 day in a row set to exercise in a group so the next day when it exercised in a group the lovesickness was taken care of. If anyone who had this ailment for only one day could confirm that their care plan for the next day was also exercise in a group that'd be great. If anyone that still has a chocobo with lovesickness could set their next available plan to exercise in a group and confirm that this takes care of it that would be great too.^^ Hopefully this helps people with lovesick chocobos.

I never exercised in a group and this happened. All I did was carry pacakages.

My birds energy bar has started out at 3/4 since it turned adult. Anyone have this issue?

Also, Does the head in the clouds disappear once you breed the bird? Cause if thats the only way I'll go do it.

Isn't that because of a more taxing care plan?

And maybe you can scold it for acting all lovesick and off its food? We haven't found any other reason to scold it, and I've never seen a chocobo act spoiled in any other way. I don't really intend to breed mine much so I doubt his Receptivity will be high enough to cause the lovesickness but perhaps that is it. Highly receptive chocobos get lovesick and want partners, and you scold them to make them snap out of it and be less receptive?

I'd have to say that it was the more taxing care plan that caused it to start its day out with the energy bar at 3/4. I had him on carrying packages and that's what happened.
When I changed his care plan it changed back to full, however his stats dropped.

A question for those whos chocobo have this lovesick status. Did you feed your bird a cupid worm? Could this be the negetive effect if you feed it the cupid worm at the wrong time?

<Quote from FFXIclopedia>
Feeding your chocobo a worm (e.g. Gregarious, Parasite, Cupid) can have beneficial effects as described above. However, feeding your chocobo a worm at the wrong time can have no effect, or possibly negative effects. It is currently unknown what constitutes a wrong or right time to feed a Chocobo worms. The running theory stands the "right" time may be when your chocobo is "receptive to anything you give it" (paraphrase), and the "wrong" time may be considered any other day.

My bird was lovesick and I never fed it a cupid worm. So that can't be it.

My Chocobo got lovesick yesterday, and I tried scolding it (wasn't easy mind you ;_;). Guess we'll see if anything happens today.

And GygaxFiore, I haven't fed any worms to my chocobo so it's not that. I think it's just 'normal' for adult chocobos to go into the love phase. Perhaps it's just a way for SE to tell us that they can breed now. >.>;

I already tried scolding it and it didn't work. Too bad you wasted a level of affection by trying. (as I wasted also)

Hm, that's odd. I didn't notice her affection going down. @_@; Perhaps it went back up again after I fed her (right after). Not sure.

Can I ask if anyone has a green or red choco yet?

I have heard no accounts, which leads me to believe that those who claim to have blue really have purple.

Chicks with white feathers = Yellow
Chicks with Black feathers = Black
Chicks with Purple feathers = Purple
Chicks with Brown feathers = *Colored*

Thats is my only theory.

May I ask how one goes from 'There are no red or green chocobos' to 'therefore blue chocobos are really purple'? I think I missed a thought.

On another note, a very important one... can two people trade VCS Chococards to a third party and have THAT person trade to Finbarr? Is it possible to, for example, let two of your friends with Blue chocobo end up 'giving' you a blue chocobo egg even if you don't have a chocobo at all?

Or maybe at least, you have a chocobo, yes, but yours is not involved in the breeding? You're still just getting the egg from the breeding of two other people's chocobos. I can see how that would be useful, and possibly profitable to some people.

SE has only added two colours so far, the black and purple ones. yes, the blue ones people are claiming are the purple ones, its just a matter of monitors, colour settings, and people themselves. so the debate will go on till the real blue ones are released, but just look at that pic by Feielle, shows all the colours. and there are aparently two versions of black in the pic. (link is in the original post) and that would be my guess too, that the brown with yellow tips turns into the other colours that havent been released yet.

about lovesickness, i would highly doubt care plan has anything to do with curing it, mainly because it takes 2 days for care plans to take effect (cause u cant change the plan for the current day)

about care plans having equal positive and negative effect, with basic care plan in there, its possible to get a chocobo that has all 4 stats capped eventually anyways, so it doesnt really make all that much sence to have the pluses equal the minuses. plus look at the three care plans you get at adult, they have a major increase in stats, and a moderate decrease in stats, it makes logical sence to do that with all care plans. and i dont nesseccarily mean have em like +5 and -2.5, maybe have it so that they combine to add whatever basic care plan adds to all stats.

I had my chocobo start up digging today.(Digging for Truesure) Something I should of done much earlier. She "Dug up a storm" as the galka said. I gpot 400 gil instead of the normal 200 gil everyone esle reported. Also her Dircernment(Digging) went up too. Quite a productive day.

Now I just need to get rid of this love sickness. The only care plans I used was basic care, Listening to music, playing with children, and just now digging for truesure.

As far as I know those 'other colors' are palette swap placeholders that are in the ToAU .dat files... Someone correct me if they come from the core game's .dats.

My chocobo seems to use less energy when taken for walks on windy days in La Theine. A noticeably less amount of energy. The weather effect does not seem to need to be up, but it does need to be reported as that type of weather for the day from the weather linkshell person. Something to look out for. Perhaps developing weather preference is a gradual thing.

As far as the Blue/Purple issue goes, SE said the Palfrey was a Blue Chocobo. As they stated the other colors belong to other breeds.

Purple was never mentioned, and yes the birds are Purple. I have seen the birds on 3 different monitors/ TV.

I think SE decided it might look better Purple but for all intentes and purposes this is the Blue Palfrey

Not much happened for me today, Chocobo is still lovesick. Also no signs of any Auto-Regen effects.
Discernment did go up to average today though (I'm having her dig for treasure now).

And I think they're charging a bit to much to "refuel" or buy a new whistle. I mean, it's not THAT bad since they're damn convinient after all, but since most servers seem to be deflating rather a lot, I honestly though that it'd be costing a lot less.
Oh well, I guess it's easily adjustable should SE see the need for it.

Day 23

Took a walk in town - interested in everything.
fed 3 vomps
Raced - won again
Regular walk - rainy weather
Read story - happy bird
Watched over 4x's

checked on him:
Strenght and Endurance - substandard
still regards me as parent (creeps me out a bit)

have him on carrying packages for next couple of days.

Day 24
Same routine as above
Stats slight change from above: no longer a parent (yeah) - wants to be with me all the time.

Day 25
Noticed a change
I fed, raced him (still won) and also told him a story.
This time he did not have enough energy to watch over him (noticable change from being able to 4x on day 23)
weather in LaThein clear

I'm wondering now if being in the rain leaves him with more energy. Have to keep an eye on this.

Day 26
Same routine:
Carry packages 200 gil
Feed 3 vomp carrots
Regular walk - raining (made mistake of not raceing him first
Race others - still won
Told Story - happy bird

Out of energy, none left to watch over it.

No change in status

Day 27

Carry packages: 200 gil
Fed 3 Vomp carrots
Compete against others: LOST - first time!!
Regular walk: dry weather
Stats: he is now down to just liking me a lot!Watched over him: 2x
Told him story: happy chocobo

P.S. I WANT A WHITE CHOCOCO!!!

Day 28

Carry packages: 200 gil
Fed 3 Vomp Carrots
Stats: Endurance has changed to: A bit deficient
Went for Regular Walk: 2x sunny weather
Told story: 1
Watch over: 3x

Did not race it today.

Day 29
Dropped packages today - 100 gil

Grown up - dirty yellow color (I wanted WHITE!!)
Just look at those sturdy legs!

Got quest for whistle

Checked condition first:
No changes

Fed 3 vomp carrots - got completely full, so appetite hasn't changed.

He started out with 95% energy bar. Interesting.
Long walk - He looked away, I searched, found nothing.

Did not energy for regular walk.

Short Walk: He looked away, I searched, found nothing.

Watched over him: 3x

Day 30
Carry Packages - dropped them again - 100 gil
Acting strange - has head in clouds and refused to eat.
Scolded it
Went on Regular walk - obtained dirty hankerchief (so go figure)
Stats went up:
Both Strength and Endurance now: A bit deficient
My Bird is in love

I was able to feed it a cupid worm. It ate it.

It now regards me as a parent

Received the Chocob whistle.

Read story: the impatient chocobo (so maybe he won't drop packages!)

Watched over it: 3
x, doesn't look happy

Egg - got from NPC - slightly warm

Question: if you register the bird to call it, does it stop developing?

Day 31

Exibit to the Public - Enjoyed it, but made the kids cry (hahah) - 100 gil
Stats changed
Strength and Endurance back down to substandard (back to carrying packages for him!)
Affection - went down 1 notch from parent, to want to be with me all the time.

He's set up to play with other chocobos today.

Care:
Watched over it: 4x not very happy
Read story: Happy Chocobo 2x
Long Walk: Got cutscene Dietmund talking about Brutus

Question: do I have to breed it for it to stop being so miserable?

Day 32
Played with other birds, had fun, he liked it.

He's still poopy and head in clouds

Str and End still substandard

Feed him: 3 vomps
Set him to deliever pacages again for next couple of days.

He was at full hp when I started today.

Long walk: 1x nothing happened
Watched over it: He is not happy
Read story: Happy Chcobo - at least he was interested
Short walk: 1x nothing happened

I sent him on honeymoon - egg comes after jp midnight. They both liked the speed of each other. Ok...
Hopefully his mood with change. If it works, cost 1500 total (I paid for both M&F cards.)

Day 33
Carry Packages

Dropped the packages - 100 gil

Still lovesick - so.... breeding didn't change it.

What hasn't worked:
Breeding
Scolding
Exercise in group
Carrying Packages
Vomp carrots, and cupid worm.

Birds condition: Str and End Substandard still, no changes

Fed it: cupid worm and 2 vomps.

Care plan: Competeted with others - Not in town anymore, outside! Screen froze. Oh goody

Now I have to restart the game. Have no idea what this will do to it.
Will Edit this when I find out.

Restarted. There is no way to know the outcome of the race. Energy bar was lower.
Went for long walk.
Told Story: the patient bird
Watched over it 1x not happy

Iam confused about colours, the bird everyone keeps saying is blue looks purple to me. Why else would there be names like Lavande(which is french for Lavender) and Violet to choose from? But SE did say there would be 2 new colours released and I think those 2 new colours are purple and red as FF7 had the colours yellow, blue, green, black and gold, so I think purple and red must be the new colours.

And it does seem like the red, green and blue hasn't be released yet and must be going to in the October update.
As in the picture it shows yellow, black white tip, a black with no feather tips, the purple which everyone is calling blue and to the right shows red, green and a bright blue.

Unless they decided to make the blue a more purply colour??

I have no idea, wish SE would explain what colours there are more, unless they wanted to surprise us with the new purple chocobo.

The official designation for the bluish or purple looking chocobo is BLUE. There is no official "purple" chocobo, nor will there ever likely be. If in any doubt, wait until these chocobos get retired. The plaque you will receive when it retires is "Blue VCS Plaque". These plaques currently exist in only Yellow, Blue, and Black, corresponding to the three colors that are in the game. PLEASE stop calling it purple, or claiming that there is only purple, not blue. The lighter blue color in all those composites of chocobo colors are just the initial designs that shipped with the expansion, but was replaced with the darker colored model, and the blue we see now in the game is the only blue we're getting.

Where did you get info from that the purple/blue chocobo is officially designated as blue?

It's purple to me or shall I call it blurple?? Until I see some proof that it is called otherwise.

So did you have a blurple choco retired it and got a plaque which said it was blue?

So has anyone retired their purple/blue chocobo yet? if so do you get a plaque saying it's blue? I just want to know what the choco is.

I will stop thinking of it as purple if someone can confirm that it is actually meant to be blue.

Hey guys,

It's an unlikely place to post this subject but I decided I might since this site is so popular, anyways here is the information i've been able to find today.

Jennet (Green)
Relatively short chocobos called Jennet, to achieve parents have to have Endurance. A minor boost to Endurance is Basic Care, Talking a walk, Exercising in a group, a moderate increase in endurance is carrying packs, there is no major boost for endurance.

Rounsey (Yellow)
Rounseys are the average chocobo that you rent. Rounseys are likely what you'll have when you get your first chocobo. You can mate them to get the other species (different stats give different species of chocobos) there is no special way to get a Rounsey.

Palfrey (Blue)
To achieve a Palfrey the parents need to have high Discernment, a minor boost to discernment is Basic Care, Listening to Music, Playing with children, a moderate boost is Exhibiting to the public and a major boost to Discernment is Digging for Treasure.

Courser (Red or Yellow)
These rare and relatively tall chocobos are rarely seen and even more rarely seen red, they are no longer pure bred but occasionally have red from previous generations come out in their feathers. To achieve a Courser the parents both need to have high physical stats, Endurance and Strength, a minor boost to both is Basic care, taking a walk, exercising alone is a minor boost to just Strength, Exercising in a group is a minor boost to endurance, a moderate boost to both is carrying packages, a major boost to strength is Delivering Messages, there is no major boost for Endurance. Coursers are clearly the most difficult breed to achieve.

Destrier (Black or Yellow)
Destriers are no longer pure bread and occasionally have their black feathers show, much like red Coursers. To Achieve a Destrier you need the parents to have high strength. A minor boost to strength is Basic care, taking a walk, exercising alone, a moderate boost to it's strength is carrying packages and a major boost is Delivering messages

NOTE: You can achieve Blue and Black chocobos as Rounseys, although they will not have the natural stats of their original breed.
NOTE: Red and Green chocobos will not be released immediately, they will be unlocked in the coming version update (Mid-Late October)
NOTE: Some of the Care procedures I have given you decrease other stats please be aware of that! Make sure your affection with the chocobo is always kept high, if you do not thee procedures will have no effect.
NOTE: As for Diet experiment, chocobos are different on what breed likes what.

I don't intend to start any false rumors, but where did this guy get this? Did he make it all up, or is there any factual basis?

He also says that gysahl greens mildly increase physical stats while azouph mildly increase mental...if it's true, it's news to me.

More importantly, he says that Rounseys can come in blue, black, and yellow. If that's true, might ALL our chocobos be Rounseys, and the only way to get other species is by breeding parents with certain stats?

We don't have any reason to believe any of this, just thought I'd post it.

oh, and i dont think SE has bothered with actually putting in races of chocobos, which might be y they removed that page.

I found the original PlayOnline page where they talk about the different breeds if that helps. Here they describe the Palfrey breed:
Playonline.com wrote:
The mid-sized palfreys were bred to withstand the searing air and blazing heat of the desert. They are mainly raised in the Republic of Bastok and on Zepwell Island. With a relatively gentle demeanor, these chocobos are suited for those with who lack advanced riding skills. Palfreys are known to come in both blue and yellow.

The colors they mention are Yellow, Black, Green, Blue, and Red. No mention of purple at all.

I also doubt that information. For one it says Carrot paste increases mental stats (as a chick) when it clearly is made of vomp carrots, something that increases physical stats. But that aside how bout a little update on GloryIdol eh? :P

today she completed yet another 'Delivering Messages' for good ol' windurst. Glad to see she has yet to get injured in this stressful careplan, but alas she has gotten bored once again despite my efforts to race her daily. Her stats are as follows:

Strength: Average
Endurance: A Bit Deficient
Discernment: Poor
Receptivity: Poor
Affection: Parent
Personality: Ill mannered, military use.
Abilities: none
Weather Preference: none

I also decided to compare my chocobo to that of a rented chocobo. I had my brother rent one from windurst and I called out mine. I didn't even have to go half-way through our little course before it became painfully clear that mine didn't match up. So I guess rented chocobo's are in the 'first rate' level. Oh well.

Curious to note: My brother had all his stats set to poor and was raising discernment, but after feeding a vomp carrot to his chocobo its strength rose up to substandard. Not sure what the last person said about these carrots, if it raised endurance or strength, but my brother showed me and it indeed raised in strength.

Care plans

As the chocobo matures you will be able to select a care plan for your chocobo. Here you can boost his stats according to your plan. If we look at the attributes and you want your choco mainly for travel you want to boost his STR and Endurance. Perhaps in the future we will find out what will be the attributes used for digging, racing etc.

3.1 The egg fase

It will take 4 RL days to hatch an egg despite what kind of egg it is. All Chocobo's hatch Yellow. Im doing research about the skills of the chocobo's per egg.
While it is an egg the only thing you can do is care for your chocobo. This will raise your affection.

After your egg hatches your allowed to name your Chocobo. The names has a max. of 15 characters. You can pick your name out of a list with words. You can find the list Here. Or if you cant decide use Valadhurs Name generator

3.2 The "chick" Phase

Now that it is hatched its time to care for the little baby. You need to care for it, take it for walks and feed it. You can also set up a care plan.

3.2.1 Going for a walk (short)
Going for a walk will raise your affection level and make your "chick" stronger. But it will drain its energie/stamina. So you can only take him for so many walks a day.

When you take your chocobo for a walk you will meet the chocobo NPC with his chick (everytown has there own chocobo NPC with there chick).
We are still investigating how to get the Cut Scene with the NPC untill now it seems pretty random.

On the 3th meet you will get a key item: Chocobo story wich you can use later on.

  • San Doria: Story of an Impatient Chocobo.
  • Windurst: Story of a Young Chocobo.
  • Bastok: Story of an Worriesome Chocobo.

Asking the chocoboy about 'Tell a Story' gives you:
'You can tell a chocobo a story you know. This will foster the animals sensibilities. I've heard that by listening to a story, the chocobo might even realise it has powers it never noticed before.'
This makes me think it will raise its attributes or learns it an ability.

3.2.2 Feeding your chocobo

Checking on your Chocobo will tell you what the hunger level is for your chocobo.

The hunger levels are:

  • Level 1 - "Starving"
  • Level 2 - "Quite hungry"
  • Level 3 - "A little hungry"
  • Level 4 - "Neither hungry nor full"
  • Level 5 - "Neither hungry nor full" (no this is not a typo)
  • Level 6 - "Almost full"
  • Level 7 - "Quite full"
  • Level 8 - "Completely full"

To feed your chocobo you trade food to the chocobo NPC.

3.3 The adolecent phase
It takes 19 days to grow your egg into a young chocobo.

3.3.1 The colours in the adolecent phase
What Feielle found out by datamining is:

Once your choco gets to the adolecent fase, there are 4 colour combinations it can have:
Yellow with
white tips
Yellow with
Black tips
Yellow with
purplish tips
Brown with Yellow tips.

Picture here

3.3.2 Tell a Story

Strengthens bonds of affection and trains mental faculties. Telling various stories may have a beneficial effect for the chocobo. You can tell general chitchat or tell one of the Key item: Stories. I believe telling the key item stories will unlock abbilities as described in paragraph 2.3.
We have one confirmation of getting an abillity while rieading the story its:
* Auto-Regen from the Happy story

3.3.3 Going for a walk (regular)

Regular walks go to the teleport zones. La theine/Konshot/Tahrongi. After getting a CS with 3 other chocobo raisers you will get the option Compete against others.

Also its possible to meet up with chocobo trainers for the 2 others towns and get their story (Impatient, young, worriesome)

3.3.4 Scold chocobo

All we know so far is: "Your chocobo hangs it head with shame"

3.3.5 Compete against others

When you select this you get a race in town. The facts say that this entertainms a bored chocobo. So when you get a message that your chocobo is bored I suggest this option.

After winning 3 races you will get a new story to tell your chocobo.

Winning the race seems random at the time.

3.4 The adult phase

After 29 days you will have an adult Chocobo. It is possible to get a coloured chocobo out the 1st generation eggs. Its still under investigation how to.

Fullgrown, you have 2 sizes: Large and Medium (the largest difference being the head sizes)

Large:
Yellow

Black
Purplish

Medium:

Black
Blue
Red
Green

3.4.1 Obtaining the Chocobo whistle

To obtain your chocobo whistle follow this small guide.

3.4.2 Going for a walk (long)

Long walks go one zone further than the teleport zone. You have a chance to meet up with Dietmund and Brutus (Both speculated to give you the last 2 stories).

3.4.3 Registering your Chocobo for riding it

In the root of the Chocobo menu you can register your chocobo to the whistle

4.0 Breeding

I want to know alot more about breeding before putting up the info. Its kind of complicated with the generic code. Altho i will put up the how to soon.

5.0 Gimli's diary

Ive decided to hop on the diary train. Just for myself and share it with people who are intrested.

Situation:
  • Stable: San Doria
  • Egg (bit)

Day 1 till day 3
After checking on the egg it apperently wants out. Ive treated the egg like the NPC. Always check it everyday for the bond. So everytime i checked it i made sure my affection went up. I didnt make use of a care plan. I believe the care plan is for people who cant check it everyday. There bond wont go out but your chocobo will stay in good health. From day till day 3 thats the only thing i did.

Day 4: The hatchin
As we all know now it takes 4 days to hatch. My chocobo hatched with all Poor skills. I suspect that the type of egg influences this. I would like to hear people who have used other eggs what kind of skills they have.
But my Chocobo is Male and has the name (with me being a SMN all the way) CartDunkle (wich was the closet to Carbunlce ^^).
So speaking to alot of people it looks like the gender is completely random.
Today i took my little chick for a walk where it became friends will fellow chick Air (NPC choco chick). Of cours i also raised my bond by checking on it.

Day 5: Nothing new
Did the same thing as yesterday, checked on it and took it for a litlle walk. I have been reading that after a while the NPC will learn you a story to tell your chocobo during walks. So ive decided to take it for a walk every day till ive learnt that. It is still in good health and wasnt hungry or full wich means tomorrow it has to eat. But with people raising the prices and even worse people buying it for these prices (keeping the prices high), it might become a problem. Ive been trying to setup a deal with our LS cook to make us the food. Now if i can just persuade the LS gardner to stop gardening tree cuttings and start making grass ^^.

Day 6: Feeding time
For the first time my little chick was hungry. After taking it for a walk (no 2nd CS yet -.-) it was time for feeding it. It was hungry. So i gave him one veggie past. After the first one it wasnt hungry or full. After the 2nd one it was full. I still havent selected a care plan so it still under basic care. I might need to change my diary log to add the specs of basic care.

Day 7: Cry baby
Today i got my white hankerchief. It had been crying bla, bla, bla. It looked really sad. I took it for a walk. And checked how it was doing. All stats are still poor. This time it was neither hungry or full. So i guess tomorrow it will be feeding time.

Day 8: too carfeul?
After riding a chocobo to rolanberry, I afk'ed there to bazar (i was hoping to get a dirty hankerchief). When i got home from work it had shutdown so i cant say for sure if i maxed out my chocobotime. My hankerchief was still white when i went back to the stable. He still took it off me. I needed to feed CartDunkle again because it was hungry. Today i took it for 2 walks because i realized i was beeing to carefull with my chick because it was always full with Stamina. I still didnt get the story. So getting the story seems random. I got first CS at my first walk. After that i didnt get any. Hope ill get it tomorrow.

Day 9: Big appetite
Nothing really changed. Altho it looks likes his appetite is getting bigger. I fed him 3 veggie paste to top him off. Also took him for 2 walks but still no 2nd CS.
It said the white hankerchief did its work so he not lonely anymore. But it emphasised white hankerchief. I would like to know more about the dirty hankerchief and how to obtain it.

Day 10 - 2nd CS
Woot today, on my chocobo walk, i got my 2nd CS it was between 07:00-07:30 on lights day. Im going to try the same time for my next walk (hope i can get it on same day too) to see if this is a finding or a speculation. Took if for 2 walks got my CS on the 2nd walk. Also fed him 1 veggie paste as it went from full to hungry. Im trying to keep it at neither hungry or full, dont want to make him a fat chocobo

Day 11 - Parent
Didnt notice it before so i cant say this was the first time i got this but my affection level is regards me as his parent. This might have changed after handing in the hankerchief. Something to look at if you havent done this yet.
Feed it 2 as it was starving. I didnt had the patience to wait till 7 to check my time theorie on walk CS. This time i took it for a walk around 11:00 on darkday and no CS.

Day 12 - Rush
I didnt had much time for CartDunkle today. I had dynamis and was rushing. I checked it and fed it once. Took it for a walk on darkday 13:00-13:30 (no CS).
It also said it calmed down. Wich we just discovered is the turn side of perky wich give you new plans.

Day 13 - ><
Today i waited till 7:00-7:30 for my walk. This was on watersday. I didnt get a CS. So its not on a daily time you get a CS. Next time i am going to try to do it on lightday again. If i dont get a CS than then that disproves my theorie about a sceduled time for a CS. I hope more people can give me input about the time they got a CS while going on a walk. Further nothing new to report. Wont be long till it goes it to the next phase now.

Day 14 - ><
Today the strangest thing happened. I didnt get a daily report. It spoke to me as if i already talked to him today. So i cant report much. My chocobo didnt had full stamina also. So it looked liked it missed the new day. So nothing much to report.

Day 15 - double update
Today i got a daily report for Day 14 - 15. So i guess i doesnt really matter to skip a day, seeing that my chocobo was perky. Altho it was hungry also. I wanted to give it a Vomp carrot since it was perky but i couldnt find one. So i fed it 2x veggie pastes to make it almost full. Took if for 2 walks (Still no story T_T). I changed my care plan for the first time to walk in town (3days).

Day 16 - Story!
After doing the usual as always i finally got my CS and my key item. I got the CS at the start but this is because i changed my chick from basic care to taking a walk. I fed it a veggie paste and a vomp carrot because it was perky.

Day 17 - Still in high spirits
Today i didnt get the message that it had its fill and calmed down. This is the first time that my chick was perky for 2 days in a row. So again i gave it a vomp carrot and a veggie paste and did my 2 walks and 2 checks.

Day 18 - 0.o still in high spirits
Unbelievable for 3 days in a row now. changing my care plan to take a walk in town payed off. He seems to be enjoying himself in town. Im still not happy because it doesnt have a personality. One more chick day to go.

Day 19/20 - Wasted a day
I checked too late so i got a CS with a walk trough town as a chick and after that a day 20 report with a walk trough town as a teenager. No suprise its yellow with white tips. (Still no personality). I might have had it on basic care too long. It was starving so i gave it one vomp carrot it too take it to neither hungry or full. Took it for a normal walk. hooked up with the 3 other guys. Took it for a race and won it. Told it a story and checked it.

Day 21 - Lower affection
Today when i checked it had all poor attributes, no personality and it was starving. I even dropped a affection leven. Probably because i had it on walk around town as care program. I didnt had any vomps due to ******** up my gardening so i gave it so plain greens. Gave it 2 and it was almost full. Read it the story of the impatient chocobo and took if for a regular walk (it was raining). Also did the race and won for the 2nd time. After a little TLC its stamina was completely drained. My trainer said it was bored and restless. When i checked it it looked irritated.

day 22 - 3-0
Today my Chocobo got the message it was in its zest of life. I believe this is the flipside message of it being bored. It also was starving. Feeding it greensx2 made it quite full. I raced again and won for the 3th time getting the happy chocobo story. I took it for a regular walk and got my first CS with Blood. 2 more to another story. I read it the impatient story for the 2nd time. I changed the program to delivering packedges but i still got the taking a walk CS so i hope tomorrow it will deliver packedges.

Day 23 - Raise in endurance
Finally got an attribute raise. Now ive got substandard endurance. I was hoping i would get a STR raise but this is still ok. Took it for 2 walks (no 2nd CS) and read it a story. Than finished up with a check x2 and fed it 2 greens. Affection seems to be a bit harder now. I always end up with him regarding me as its parent. But because of the care plan it drops to want to be with me all the time. It Always seem to be starving when i check now. 2x greens fill it up to quite full. No abbilities, no personality and no weather preference.

day 24 - And there is Strengh
After yesterdays Endurance upgrade i got my Str upgrade today. So now ive got substandard in both. Today i took it for 1 walk (no CS) and read it the impatient story and the happy storry. finished up with checking it x3. The rest is the same as yesterday.

Day 25/26 - Hmm
Well i do recall writing an little journal yesterday but its not here. On day 25 there wasnt much intresting to report anyway. No 2nd CS on my regular walk. The rest was all the same. On day 26 it was bored again so i raced it and it lost for the first time. Didnt had enough stamina in the end to even care for it. All an all a bad day.

Day 27-28 - sick
It was sick for the first time. So i took it slow. Took it for a walk (still no 2nd CS). So i guess i have to keep doing regular walks in adult phase to get story. Read the impatient story, and checked on it that was it. Fed it the usual greens and the wildgrass.

Day 29 - Big Bird
Still sick but at least its a big bird now. Its yellow as exspected. Took it for a regular walk. search but didnt find the hanky. On a short walk it was paying to much attention so i couldnt look. After that it was tired. So i will looko again tomorrow. Still have him on the same diet.
