So I was afk waiting for a friend to invite me when I had autogroup active. I came back to find he invited me but I did not automatically get invited. I tested this with others and it didn't work when they did autogroup or I did it. What am I missing???? (I tested this when I was anon and not)

Autogroup was an illconceived plan to get people to party together. If two people were on Autogroup and approximately the same level (I think, if I remember right, that it grouped me with an 11 at level 3...), it would form the party for you and attribute someone randomly to be leader. It wasn't intended to automatically accept party invites for you - it only worked amongst those with autogroup on. I doubt it's seen ANY action since soon after NA release.

you know... i've been playing since the NA release and i don't even know wtf the reason for autogroup is. Never used it.... you wana party? then seek. you don't? then dont' seek. lol i had autogroup on once by accident b4 a beseiged and somehow just popped into a party.
Edit: u know what, f**k this site and the noobs that infest half of it. who the HELL rated my post here down to sub-default?!?!? wtf did i say that was so bad this time? Jesus christ only reason i'm even awake still is cause i got a migraine.... can't sleep. Can't play the game cause my head's hurting too bad to really do anything, so i'm just sitting here... watching tv, checkin this every now and then. I decide to respond to this post or that, then some dipsh*t rate-down troll who really has nothing better to do then to make someone else's posts vanish to people that haven't set their filter to "never"?

If you play on the PC and use Windower, you can set it up to automatically accept invites from certain people. You need the AutoExec plugin, then add a line in the AutoExec XML file saying <register event="invite_FriendName">input /join</register>.

I think the autogroup feature would actually -see- use if the function was changed to "Automatically accept the first invite you get". I know that not everyone would use it, but I'm sure some would.

This feature would be great if you go afk for a bit before an event starts. It's always kind of annoying when you're trying to put alliances together and everyone is seeking but afk.
