You guys missed the best thing that we have been waiting for...

Paraphrase: Customizable equipment. We will be able to add to the equipment our choice of stats from a list of 20. Plus it's the only equipment with visible cape so far. Probably doesn't lock out the cape slot but it shows a mini cape on the body gear.

that gear looks promising, but you know it'll end up being like the other mission end gear, and you can only pick one, and one is gonna be mandatory, but they're all either gonna be awesome, or meh Smiley: glare

Nuevo Coselete:
Jobs: War, Pld, Drk, Bst, Drg, Sam

Royal Redingote:
Jobs: Whm, Blm, Rdm, Smn, Brd, Sch, Blu*, Pup*(I hope not, but I know it will be)

Mirke Wardecors:
Jobs: Mnk, Thf, Rng, Cor, Nin, Dnc, Blu*, Pup*(I hope so, but I know it won't be)

Pup and Blu could go either way, since blu could benefit from the mage or melee piece, and pup will only enjoy the melee piece, but SE loves putting pup on mage pieces(hai2uhopestaff)

Except if it were baby photos, it would be like looking at before and afters of Michael Jackson. Only instead of turning into a white guy, he changes into a chick!

Bah, some one beat me to it.

Also, anyone else notice instead of your typical Loli, that they are adding a shota? A cute shota? Haha, I find it refreshing!

Well, the site is taking a while to load, and uh... hey, did anyone else notice how freaky the Mithra in that drawing looks? How about the creepy stalker-face Tarutaru?

£7.99 in my money. Very reasonable, I reckon.
Like the sound of the gear. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

The release date isn't the 23rd of March. The 23rd is the first day you can pre-purchase it before it's April release date.

Yea, it's already priced. $9.99 for the US version.

I'm looking forward to this. That's a price I'm willing to pay, and that armor has promise. My only problem is I can likely only get one, and the 3 main jobs I play would fall under each of the different ones. Smiley: bah

If you guys noticed, the Royal Redignote was the original design of the Tidal Talisman that they showed at Vanafest. They said there was a miscommunication on what the Tidal Talisman would look like and the devs came up with that, and the head of the equipment division said it was way too nice for the tidal talisman and they remade it but kept the design. It's nice to see that it will be used in this mini expansion.

I think that PUP will go with Redingote and BLU will go with Wardecors. When I look at these 3 sets it reminds me of Nyzul Gear and their separation. For Royal Redingote, it will probably be DEF, MP, Resting MP while healing as the base stats. As far as the 20 Attributes to choose from I am guessing:

(This is just a guess)
- Attack
- Ranged Att
- Acc
- Ranged Acc
- Double Attack %
- Store TP
- Evasion
- Critical Hit rate
- Physical Dmg Reduction
- +HP%
- Magical Dmg Reduction
- Refresh Effect
- Regen
- Elemental Skill
- Enfeebling Skill
- Summoning Skill
- Healing Skill
- Avatar Perp
- Blue Magic Skill
- Song Casting time

These are elements that we commonly see on gear that is grouped for multiple jobs. So now we get to pick two of them instead of having a body piece with only certain stats that go with our job/playstyles. Depending on the amount of bonus, you can end up making mimic of some gear that you can't normally obtain.

SE said that Hardcore players will finish it in two weeks, while for the more casual player it will take about a month to a month and a half. You can start doing the quests around level 30 solo, but it will take a party 75's to finish.

Hmm, why are people commenting on the price? The price was announced right at the outset when SE first mentioned these. The customizable armor is much more interesting, as long as it's reasonable amount of the stat that gets added, these could be very good. Hopefully there will be someway to change the stats at some point, or we'll get people complaining about how they wanted the ACC instead of the ATT or some such.

Very, very, interesting. A nice mini-story that can bring something new to the present time instead of making us go through a bunch of new areas that would be inaccessible to people below level 75.

And for 10 bucks? Practically a steal.
