Very good! 9/10 sounds just about right. Do people still think any of those items increases luck somehow? Welcome to 2004?

Very clever. I wish there was some way to constantly produce a new comic of this quality every week.

I wish I could help out with that. The thing is, I have this problem where I have no talent what so ever.

Actually, now that I think of it, I had an idea a while back I think I might be able to use. It has to be executed exactly right for it to be funny though. I think I will make that my project for today.

I'm gonna go with SE's excuse of a "Absolute Virtue Blue's Clues" video.

If I ever get a scanner again, I'll lend my art-hand to the comic as an artist. As it is, I never mastered the pen-tablet for drawing digitally. My submissions would look more or less like Usagi's . . . I saw where Fred Perry (of the Lvl up! FFXI comic) draws directly onto a digital tablet when I went to one of his panels, so perhaps I'll make my next laptop a tablet PC and see if that goes any better.

XD

It's my birthday too!

(and Elvis Presley's, and Stephen Hawking's)

January is a huge month for birthdays on Alla apparently.

Former Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi has a birthday today, and he is apparently a huge fan of Elvis Presley. It is also my cousin's birthday, along with a woman my father used to work with, and my friend Sean McKeever, a comic book author.

Happy birthday, Kuwoobie :)

Thanks for the comments again! Alla has become my experimental lab for my comic/graphic work so I do appreciate it.

I was hoping someone would get that. I knew it would go over a lot of people's heads but I just couldn't resist.

This was my first attempt at digitally coloring a scanned drawing and it was a bit harder than I expected. I'd like to try a tablet but they haven't liked me either in the past. That's half of why I'm doing these comics though, to figure out what tools I'll be comfortable with.

They're only suggestions. I've put up 2 four panel comics, myself.

I really I think I'm trying too hard for the project I am working on for Happy Friday. Hopefully the end product will be something that is worthwhile. You'll see what I'm talking about as soon as it's finished x.x

Hopefully in the future all the initial work will pay off and I will be able to produce more with the resources I have gathered today and hopefully tomorrow. I only fear that it will become too large and overwhelm me like almost everything else I attempt to do.

I look forward to seeing it, Kuwoobie. While I do thoroughly enjoying working on the comics, the idea was for it to be more a community comic submitted by you guys.
