Mog Gardens and otherworldly skirmishes are both set to receive boons come Thursday, August 21.

  • Campaign Specifics

1) Mog Garden Campaign
As with the previous iteration, the number of shining stars given for entering your Mog Garden will double and the shore will be awash with unusual flotsam.

New this time, however, is the ability to collect two items per day from the monster you are currently rearing.
Regardless of your familiarity with raising Vana'diel's beasts in your backyard, now is the time to nurture that green thumb and take advantage of all your Mog Garden has to offer! And those of you starting to get bored with the same creatures need not fear-a new monster is scheduled to wamble its way into the Gardens in the September version update!

2) Skirmish Simulacra Double Drop Rate Event
Once the campaign begins, it will be twice as likely to procure simulacra segments that drop during colonization and lair reives. This could be the perfect opportunity to dive into the newly unveiled alluvion skirmishes if you have completely conquered the existing styles of otherworldly conflict.

Campaign Period: Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 11 p.m. (PDT) to Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the same hour.

Gaaah.

The last time they did the Simulcra Double Drop Rate, the AH prices were cut by more than half on things like Torsos, etc that you could buy with Login Points.

Given the fact I don't want to have computers running all day and all night, I don't really want to buy&sell pop items (I wish they'd us AH those already....) to have my characters standing around with bazaar flags up.

I know the Simulcra Drop Rate helps people at endgame do the content... but it sucks for the people who were selling some of these things that are buyable with the Login Points.
