NOW and/or other recognized women's equality organizations don't know Anita from beans.

I've been thinking about it since this afternoon and either you're a brain dead muppet, being deliberately obtuse for lulz, or I am using words you don't understand. I can't do anything about the first two, so here's the last one.
Never said that it was all feminists. Never said that it was major feminist organizations. Said that some people were backing Anita or Zoe in the name of feminism. If you don't like that some people are using your ideology to back these dishonest losers, perhaps you should be admonishing them rather than crying "NAFALT!".

I honestly think the rest of your post was a knee jerk reaction to a perceived attack on feminism, so I'm not going to bother responding.

Even I get frustrated sometimes. Usually it's when people are misreading what I've said. It also happens when someone tries to make an argument about something it wasn't really about so that they can argue it. If Gbaji had done that, he would have had people dogpiling him like a cupcake at a fat kid convention.

On a more humorous note, I got a kick out of the fact that someone mentioned Recette here.

Heh, everyone is desperate to show that the other guys orchestrated the whole thing. Zoe Quinn supposedly sat in some 4Chan IRC channel and logged them planning attacks and lies and whatnot (and made a website posting her logs). She also supposedly sent all the logs to the police and FBI.

I've no idea if it's true or not -- give me three minutes with Notepad and I can make you an IRC log saying anything you want. I am amused by the "FBI/Police!" bluster though. Maybe she sent them logs, I dunno. I find it hard to believe that they're actively engaged in it and said "Great, now make a website bragging to them about how you got all this evidence and post it for the world to see. Nothing could be better for our investigation!"

I'd never wish that they do something like that, but since it's already been done, I can hope that the person responsible is one of them.

Supposedly the mods of the channels or whoever is hosting them has been logging things just in case and has a rebuttal. I haven't read them. I just listened to a video about it while working last night.
