It looks like Reddit may be imploding. In an effort to stop harassment boards, they banned 5 yesterday, including /fatpeoplehate. Today, so far, they've banned /whalewatching, which was apparently a board about watching actual whales.

You misspelled 'irrationally panicking over virtually nothing' or perhaps 'redditors behaving like redditors' it's hard to really tell what you were going for. reddit is experiencing explosive growth and finally looks in danger of turning a profit for conde nast. They have essentially no real competition in the space. redditors being whiny douchebags is part of the charm, not a sign of trouble.
