I camped it for about 3 hours last night and after he finally poped me and another BLM duo'ed him and no drop >< Also the night before we camped and gave up after 2 hours of him not popping. I am having really bad luck with this!
I guess I'll try again tomorrow! My Dancer must have this dagger :D

Kard + Minstrel's Dagger = 10 chr with /nin and no - crap from monster signia. Thats why people want it :)

For those wishing to kill the mob, look out. He is not sleepable. Not to any of a bards lullaby's, or a Elemental Sealed Sleep2 with 4 enfeebling merits and great gear. Bind does stick however, and lasts a decent amount of time. But as far as I know, he cannot be slept. If you manage to, I'd like to see a screenie of it. Thanks.

Went for him solo as 75 bst/whm. Killed off all the goblins in the nearby hall and in his spawn room. I used Torama pets witch seem to shred the gobs no problem. When he popped I pulled him across the big room to the south and left pet (loosing all his links from the big room at that time). Now the battle field was my bst playground with the Torama mobs getting beat down by him one by one. Took maybe 5- 12 pets and Kard was mine. Not a bad fight and I didnt melee until the end. He does hit fast and I treated him like I do Ose fight as bst. Took about 20 mins to pop him from the time I started killing gobs in his spawn area.

He shows up every two hours, to the minute (at least in our experience). His placeholder is Goblin Bandit, and they only spawn (in that room) when he's about to show up.
We killed him a couple times tonight to get Kards for LS folks. Got one every time we killed him, every two hours.

Solo'd today, 75/37 Nin/War.
He has pretty high eva yes, but ate sole sushi, so missed only a little, he tripple attk does kick in alot, but normally per one tripple attk, he would miss me, and only take one shadow down.
No dagger drop, gld bst coin though, just wanted to see if I could do it lol.

Besieged was made ages after this mob was created. So, no, he doesn't pop during besieged.
Notorious for being such a great thief, he'll not only steal your gil, but your very life as well.

While I was in an exp party in Labyrinth of Onzozo, some level 70+ players decide to want to fight him (think they were trying to get gold beastcoins also), so the party I was in joins for fun and maybe to get the weapon for the bard in my party (so she could use it when she got to the required level to use it). Killed the placeholders and stuff, and fought the gob. Didn't take long (under a minute...), and he dropped everything except the Kard. Didn't get anything except 600 gil...Oh well, at least it was fun...
why would anyonone want this dagger? there are much better daggers at this level, and for the CHR+ for brd or BST im sure there are better weapons with chr+ than this,if im not mistaken. <<correct me if im wrong>> or exlpain to me why this is useful please lol

For a bard interested in a CHR bonus from a weapon while still being able to retain the ability to use Evisceration, this is an ideal solution. No, it's not the best CHR giving weapon, but it is the best CHR giving weapon that still allows bard to do Evisceration.

i don't really knwo myself either but i would be willing to try this out as thf. DE is 40% based on CHR so +5 might add a little to your damage. the delay isn't the best for a sub weapon, but if you can get TP fast enough with this dagger subbed it could be decent. just my opinion, my thf is only 61 atm so i cant test it out either. Maybe later i'll post results
Despite the other posts, this isn't the best drop rate. Not horrible, just not most likely to drop.

This thing was the reason there was a massive gobbie train at the Onzozo exp camp. I could've lived, but I was an idiot and used Hide, but went too close to the NM so he saw me and every gob got on me and I died along with 5/6 of my party.
Ok be careful with this guy the triple attack kill shadows. I was 75 BRD/whm with a 75 RDM/nin got him to 1/3 life and wiped lol. Came back with a DRG/WAR killed him easily > no drop.
Went back next day, with 75 BRD/WHM and 75 RNG/NIN killed the 2 place holders he spawned. Got him to 1/2 life he spammed triple attack I ran outa MP > dead Taru ranger dead, BRD. I probably coulda healed him if I had some Ethers and Yag drinks but I didn't ; ;. So we come back with a 51 RDM and kill him easily NO DROP. ><
Went back next day, with 75 BRD/WHM and 75 RNG/NIN killed the 2 place holders he spawned. Got him to 1/2 life he spammed triple attack I ran outa MP > dead Taru ranger dead, BRD. Yeah, I can vouch for this. Tanked him the other day as a 67 Nin... he has a wicked Triple Attack activation rate. Still, not too terribly bad. Just high evasion, etc... usual Thief stuff. Got the drop first try! :D
Popped after 40 minutes, and the battle was easy easy easy with 75NIN, 66THF & 66BRD. Got the drop first try. ^^/ Thanks Soulstealer!

yeah got mine the first time too, was waiting for ose went in there killed two gobs... next spawn time he popped, tanked it as a 68nin/thf, had rdm and whm healing, rdm just refresh, i did the debuffing to keep hate spam spells, paralyze and slow works nicely, rdm also cast bio2 and poison2, long battle but straight do able, not like ose where you may have a mage pt where they sleep, nuke,sleep, heal... ext.. easy drop. first time... may go for it again just for fun to see if it will drop again.

This NM spawns in a room off of the Torama area. There are 3-4 goblins in the room, and another 1-2 in the tunnel leading from Torama area. There is also a Manticore in this room, and a random Wyvern will spawn here also, so take care.
The Kard seems to be an easy drop, as I got mine the first NM pop, and so has everyone else I've talked to.

It will use Perfect Dodge at about 2/5 life. Kinda hard to hit without good Accuracy gear but was quite easy to kill. Watch out for bombs and links. I got Kard off 1st one killed, gave it to JP BRD.

LVL 74-76 NM at H-4. It is a 2 hour lotto pop of the goblin in that area
