edit: In the past I traded a goblin die and lost. I brought another one today and ended up with him NOT accepting it. WTF???! WHY?! I also hit 30k in LOSING funds. God I hate this guy. I don't even know if it's worth it...
I have 1900 gil left... uuugghhh... I've been doing this ENM alot and I've lost so much gil. I guess it's time to do a BCNM.

Its CoP 5-3 CS you can use it to get to, but I would just stick with snow lily >.<

The higher you pay, the larger the spread of the winning number is.
At 10,000 gil, rolling between a 2 and 50 will get you the key item.
At 10,000 gil, rolling between a 2 and 50 will get you the key item.
If you trade him up to 10,000 gil he will role 2 50-sided dice. If the total ends up between 2 and 10 (when you trade 2,000. Tthe more you give him, the larger the spread you have, up to 50 for 10k) he will warp you to the entrance of Mine Shaft #2716. I traded 2,000 gil and ended up getting a 2. You will get a key item called "Shaft gate operating dial" which allows you to open the gate to the BC area for ENM 60.
Once you have the key item, trade him another 2,000 gil and he will warp you in.
You CAN use this for getting to the BC area gate for CoP 7-3 cutscene.
