does this thing always drop blm test??? or is it just random drop???
ha, your all too weak. watched a 75 thf/nin solo this guy. funniest fight i've ever seen. he went in with 6 stacks of sleep and 6stacks of blood bolts. don't know how many he burned through. he kept shadows up, and kept hitting the guy with sleep bolt. Manafont didn't do anything, because as soon as he used it, the thf slept him and kept him slept the whole time. he barely got hit.
And your cool cause you watched this?
i solo him all the time SMN > NM's. i love when people think they're big 'cause they can spectate though lol

I am so very fond of raise III. My LS decided that we were going to go camp this and the warlord to see if we could get quake drop. I ended up getting killed 2 times as my red mage (70). Thankfully we had a high level whm with us so i got raise III both times. After a couple hours of fruitless farming i ended up with a blm and drk testy and about 100 more exp then when i started.
Anyways, now to my point. Pretty east fight for a rdm 70, whm 73, pld 74, and a monk like 60 tagging along because he was bored. Warlord was easy too.
I dont know why people said it is hard to stick silence on him. for some reason mine stuck for a long while.....that or it was never so inclined to cast spells.
Also, on a personal note, yaay. most damage i have done on a magic burst thus far (little less then 500, not a lot but more then i have done.)

Silence on this guy doesnt stick long at all, both i(68blm) and a 74RDM could not get silence to stick for more then 15 seconds, so we both gave up on keeping silence up the whole time and restorted to just stunning the big spells, and if stun wasnt up casting silence. Worked okay, no drops though
I just duoad 9 hexspinners and 9 warlords and all we got was 3 stonega 2s 2 stone 3s a stone 4 and 2 stuns :/ I did 6 of the fights with a lvl 73 thf and myself as 75 rdm/nin and the other 12 fights with a 74 drg/whm. It was fun and all but come on!

I was in an XP pt down in Monastic Cavern, because everywhere else was too crowded =/ but ended up making pretty crappy xp but mostly just xping off of NM's lvl 60-62 pt. Many drops, such as Stonega 2 x2 Quake x2 and so on. Free lots on all drops ^^ and i ended up with a Quake ;) all in all one of the most fruitful pts i have been in besides the XP which was quite slow at that lvl...aprox 2-3 hours with a 6132 xp gain XD. 350k scroll tho, can't beat that.

I solo'd him pretty easy as Lv73 blm/whm. Took about 10-15 minutes to kill. Takes about the same to solo Warlord. I only got ~72 exp for Hexspinner, but got 130 exp from Warlord and around 100 gil each. I have killed each one about 4-5 times with no good drops yet ><;

Was partying down here for exp with my static. When we were all about to leave for the night I made a suggestion that since all our 2 hrs we up we figtht one of the NM's and see how it goes. If it didt look good or blm would escape us and we would just end it for the night. My party consisted of:

Fight went like this:
We found a safe spot away from all the other orc's and had our WAR pull with his boomarang. The Hexspinner came running at our WAR and cast Banish 3. I in return used elemental seal and silence which stuck. Our MNK 2hred 100 fist and WAR 2hred might strikes and proceeded to beat the crap out of HIM while or BLM manafonted and ancient magic out the ying yang. When he was at 1/4 health silence ended and he used areogaIII on our party and quicky dropped us all in the red. At that point I used benediction with PALs invinsible to keep the hate. 30secs after the Benediction the MNK and WAR finshed him off. He dropped stonga 2 which sells for 70k on gilgamesh and a BLM testomony whuch i think is a 100% drop. After a good time exping this just made the night better knowing we can take a 72MOB. Next time we go down there we will try the same pattern again and hopefull we can geta QUAKE drop.

I killed Hexspinner three times with three friends trying to get a BLM testimony, and none dropped. Definately not 100%...
Of course the Warlord dropped the DRK one, and two RNG testimonies from normal mobs.

pretty much the same thing, rdm puller. but dont use elemental seal, you really want that for silence >.< i tried pulling this guy, he slept me in the middle of the first 3 orcs i slept!! 2 woke up and 1 woke up from the big room, i got down to 15 hp.. chainspell and spammed cure4s like hell, sleepga and zoned. whole pt had to zone but we went back in after a quick rest. i did sleepga to it along with a couple orcs that were with it and we got it. no blm test but we got stonga2 and gave to blm.

These guys can see though Invis. I walked past him thinking he was just another mod when I was doing Genkai III. Aero IV hit be for 525 damage, then I ran past a regular mod and aggroed him as well (this is not good for a BLM to be doing). The mission was a sucess since I reached the ??? and was able to Warp out with just a minute 20 HP left. Just a little heads up for all you would-be level 60s.

I was doing LB3 and I noticed I was lagging, figured hmm this cant be good ><. Sure enough 10 seconds later I regain control of my character and I hear a orc aggro noise.I got slept Bio'd Aero'd every damn spell cast on me. I think I died in a record of 10 seconds. -_- luckily I got tractored by my friend and R2 as well as the orcish crest =).

I was doing Genkai III, so i just got the Orcish Crest, me being bored out of my mind decide to engage this NM in a fight just for some fun^^. I knew what lvl this thing was and that i had no chance but it was a fun experience. So..i take my great axe out..
Anyway as soon as the fight started this thing cast BioIII on me. After the BioIII it hit me a lv60 warrior/nin for 150+. After that it cast AeroIV on me...thankfully shadows were up and dmg was absorbed. :|. I was doing pretty good with it. All my hits were missing though this thing has huge evasion. Anyway i was dead after 20 other orcs in the surrounding area decided to join in. x_o
