I got to lvl 54 the other day and went to the AH on Seraph to retrive this scroll only to find it costing 1,200,000 GIL! Seraph is getting rediculous!

get a lv.1 job
buy some Silent Oil
buy some Prism Powder
used silent oil & Prism powder for u to get to the Buning circle. when u get into BCNM50, if u pick the wrong one, either way u wont be able to walk out alived. and getting kill @ lv.50.. u lost alot of exp!!
so... bring a low lv job in, that way u lost less exp.
The only downside of this, is u will lost the beastman seals.

BCNM50 starts by letting you select from 3 chests, one has the treasure, the others make you fight the old-fashioned way for it.

Yes, some of the droppers can be soloed. >_>; idk why everyone here is saying it can't... Centurio X-I (sp?) was just soloed... I watched her kill it. Obviously none of you have ever seen a RDM 75/NIN37 solo Garuda and Windsday! XD

They are pretty cheap on the AH though. So I wouldnt worry about taking on the lvl70 mobs.
you guys have to remember that this scroll drop by a very high level monster!!

What I believe Kudoma is trying to say is that, when compared to taking down THE toughest HNM in the game or completing a very challenging BCNM (Ive successfully done 40 and Ive heard 50 puts it to shame, much harder) 70-100k is really not that bad when you think about it. Look at it from my perspective, Absorb-DEX is dropped from a high lvl 60's mob, and I just bought it for 360,000 gil.
i think you've gotten scrolls mixed up. quake is DEFINETELY not cheap, i think it's an ancient magic spell and all those spells are expensive like no other. when meteor comes out in promathia i think it's gonna be ancient magic too, and i know THAT ain't gonna be cheap ^^
on my server quake scroll is usually at about 70k gil cost so its not exactly cheap. though the listing above saying it is dropped on those high high high level mobs makes me wonder if monastic cavern just isn't visited often by people which causes the inflated price, the scroll is just an incredibly rare drop, or people have just been trying to keep the price high to make me sad.
