hey you guys think a 66 blm / 33 whm can solo this thing? I was wondering if I can just Sleep II him nuke Sleep II again and repeat till it die's. I wanna get this for a friend and I'm willing to farm him a bit if for nothing else the cutting's.

you know the drop rate is bad when the gilsellers don't even bother camping it.

Im a 71 SAM/RNG on Asura ... he just popped on me ... maybe waited 1hr max ... 2 Moss and 1 Cutting ... no biggie though, since Ill be here for a while ... I put about 7 Sidewinders and a Barrage with Iron Arrows into him ... and he took about 3/4 of my life off ... gave up 18exp so Id say he's EP to anyone 71+ ... just some helpful info.

Killed it last night with a 60NIN, 58WAR, and 58WHM.

Dropped 2 Moss and 1 Cutting.

Oh well.

I'v camped this guy many times. I farm cuttings here regularly, and camp Keeper at the same time. 0/38 now. I will keep it up as cuttings are great and the Nm is just a bonus if it drops. I'm 72thf and can solo this with ease. Last fight I didn't take a single hit. Drops Water Crystal, Boyadha Moss, Tree Cutting, and if you are lucky, the G.Katana. Moss and Cutting are garunteed. The crystal and G.Katana are rare drops. It's Anti-phase ability is gimp. I don't waste my time with echo-drops. The silence, if it sticks, won't last more than 10-20secs(I'v never had it last more than 10). As a thf it takes about 3-4mins to kill it. I duo'd it once with my 66war friend. We pulled 2 light chains and had it beat in less than about 60secs. To solo I'd recommend lvl 60+ (with good gear if you are just 60).

Yeah me(Thf) and a WHM friend killed this thing 4 times in about 5 hours last night. Every time we got 2 Boyahda moss and 1 Tree cuttings. Once we did get a Water Crystal (not earth crystal). If you use any kind of magic you're going to want to bring Echo Potions with you because his silence can f!@# you up. So now i'm like 0/12 on this **** :(

It didn't drop the GK but I soloed this as 67 sam/rng.
Was heading to Boyahda tree with an exp party. I was the last to get there. Turns out our whm engaged this not realizing it was an NM. The rest were well on their way to camp so the whm just zoned to Boyahda tree. I got there just in time before anyone else could claim it...

I dont know why the Diahyanna is listed as a drop. IT DOESNT DROP I TELL YOU!.

Thus far im 0/12 on the GKT. Never go out to purposely camp this nm. The drop is way too low to be worth it. (2% im told, and i tend to agree).I only get him because i farm gobbue in this area. Drop is always 2x moss and 1 cutting.

Pretty compllicated fight for me as 72 DRK/WAR
stun/drain whenever its up, spam guillotine, 2 hour+souleater. I dont dare engage this without my 2hour up. Its not particularly hard it just has a boatload of HP. Oh well ill keep trying. At 700k its worth killing, even for the cutting :P

I have been helping a LS mate try to get this. HE is currently 0/23 on the drop.
