you do NOT have to kill the megaboss for belts and capes to start dropping. I have been on multiple qufim and valkurm runs where i have seen belts and capes drop right at the beginning. i would bet bubu is the exact same, but i have only done a few runs there. I have seen this belt drop in both dynamis-valkurm and dynamis-qufim, as one did tonight.

I believe you and your LS has to kill the megaboss before

Once we killed the megaboss in bubu then we got a few belts.
I beleive DRG was one of the drops if I remember correctly.
I'm on the list for bst and sam. Hopefully, I'll get this

Swift Belt onry =/ Although I would use this /Rng for TP onry, Ocean Sash for WS. Sam/Rng is ultimate win on Hydra, if you ever get to fighting that.

While I was camping KA with my LS I saw a SAM in a few pieces of Relic Armor and I checked him saw this and asked about it I was informed it is a Dynamis-Valkrum Drop as for if this item is good or not meh kinda mixed I would take this over Life Belt how ever at the upder lvls many 70+ SAM tell +STR is more important so Warwolf Belt is the prefered item over this how ever I say get both you can macro in if you like what ever it aint a bad belt and it certianly has more then Life Belt

Only one person said they had one in the threads...which leads me to ask; How is it obtained? Even the one person to seem to have one hasn't said or doesn't know. Can anyone shed some light on this at all??? ^^

ok 2 questions actually... 1. how the hell do you get it? dyna drop or quest? I'm a 71sam and would like to acquire this.... 2. since it shares the saotome name does that classify this as af2 also? since all the af2 saotome (equip)?
I own one, and I like it better than Life belt. I so much accuracy that 3 more on life belt isn't even noticeable. It's especially nice since I do use /RNG sometimes.

I am sam 75, and I stand by my word, I don't like this. I don't use /rng, and as much as people sing the praises of dex, I merit GTK skill and crit hit rate so I dont need the extra ACC from dex and I don't need the crits. Its good if you use RA sure, but I don't so don't care.
Basically this gives better stats then Life Belt. You get 7 straight acc, on top of that the 5 dex is approximately 2.5 acc as well. This means you get 9.5 acc, which will round up assuming u dont already have another .5 acc from another odd number of dex somewhere. On top of that, the dex will also improve on your critical hit rate. There's also the addition of 5 DEF and 7 Racc, like that matters much to some people but it is there if you're on the fence post.

Well, the 'kthxbie' was a dead giveaway from the start that this guy had no clue as to what he's saying.
if you were a high level sam you would want this, me myself have capped archery so have this is will be better then life belt, it has def r.acc dex+ -3acc but i like warwolf belt but for the acc and racc i would take this belt now damn it tell me where i can get one

i see many SAM's wanting this... It isn't worthless...
If my SAM was the right lvl to use, I'd have this over lifebelt any day. DEF:5, DEX+5 and Ranged Accuracy+7 instead of 3 extra Accuracy.

Some Samurai enjoy leveling archery and ranger, so that they can pull off some mean Sidewinders.
