i was killed over 20 of these AND no blodd robe drop i had to camp for hours for respawn and i got pissed and i really want blue mage and i cant get it with out this

I've received this item 100% of the time from Bogys in Pashlow Marshlands as THF with TH2. Try farming it there. BTW, I was at the Bloodpool Vorax pop area.
Once you enter the mines, you can go up to the area with the three doors and at each door is a Bogy. I was WHM Lv.40 / BLM Lv.20 and could take on all three - one after each other before needing to rest for MP. I got the drop (I'd say) 10-12th kill. This item (for me) took the longest to drop - but pretty fun killing EPs.
I was getting stuff for ToAU, like others it seems, and I killed a Bogy (39 WHM/BLM, easy peasy) and got it first drop.
There's actually an age old post of mine below this one talking about how I got the drop 4 times out of 6.
I think the drop rate on this might be really common to compensate for Ghouls being alot easier to kill. Just thought it was odd really, maybe I was just lucky.

what the hell i got it to drop on a bogy in valkrum lol :P one thing tho i got exp for the sucker too would not try this w/o utsusemi was a pain for me w/ thf/nin

have u people noticed that this one of the items for ToAU access so its not useless at all. just the harder of the two for sj and hardest of all choices for ToAU access..get a damn PL and get a coffer key
Excellent place to find one is Delkfutt's Tower Lower if you have the key. Right behind the cerment door. Took me 6 kills to get the robe. Now I have my ToAU pass!
this sounds like a great place to find Bogys where on the first level is the cermet door? Is there a quest for the key?
I like being a thf! Partied with some lvl 20-25s and three other 16-18s (I was 18 at the time), killed Bogys easy, got the Robe 4 out of 6 times. First time it popped up (first battle actually), one guy got something measly, one guy was currently away, but the third lotted at 940. Moment of truth. I got 941. Seriously! I stayed on for the others, for good measure, but it was still pretty cool.

Oh Crap. I've been hanging onto this thing for about a month because someone told me it was for a quest. Now I find out it's useless to me. BTW, I got it from a Bogey at the "Hidden Beach" area in Valkurn Dunes.

do you think there is some sorta secret thing that you can unlock if you do both subjob quests?
I doubt it. If there was a reward, I'm sure someone would've thought of it by now.
Man, wish I knew what it was, but this definately drops off of something else. Some undead mob.

Edit: Ahhhh, I guess I didn't know that you could also get the subjob in Mhaura... Stoopid, stoopid, stoopid, Bastokian!!! That's what I get for assuming... ^^

There is two Sub-job Quests one in Selbina (which is usually done) and one in mhuara. I got this item off a bogy while pl a party in the dunes.
this item has only one use and it's for the subjob quest. so its not "useless". it's just not used for anything else :P
i was Hunting the Emperor in Valkurm Dunes when i ran into a bogy... i said i guess i will fight it.. i fought it as a 40 ranger and it brouht me to 20 sumthing hp... i got the robe..

So i take it that this item is worth less inless u need to get your subjob.

I killed Bogy In Gusgen And Got the Bloody Robe. I have no idea what its for though

Bloody ROBE or Bloody ROPE? I got Bloody Rope off of a Bogy in Delkfurtt tower. Is that what this is... cause if so I can drop the thing?
