Lvl 50 is right when THF gets Dancing Edge, which is a lot like Viper Bite except that it multiplies damage x5 rather than x2. Now imagine a lvl 50 THF/NIN dual wielding these for an attack buff of +20 during a SA+TA+DE with all the DEX and AGI buffs most theives are wearing by that time and with food effects added.
Can you say 1200+ damage? I knew you could. (before you scoff at that 1000 damage is not uncommon using SA+TA+DE)

you don't get Dancing Edge at lvl 50. at lvl 51 my dagger cap was 158 and Dancing Edge comes at 200. i'm 52 now, but dagger hasn't capped yet. i think it comes either at or close to 60.
I'm not sure this is the best route for upping sata+de damage. if it does 5x what base sata does (which is probably relatively not true, its probably a little less than that), then perhaps upping base sata dmg with dex and agi stats is the better route.
