I recieved the HQ image while using the Bird Egg synthesis and only got egg soup, not humpty soup.
Fixed GP info, HQ yield display, and added merchant price range, vendors, and a note. Removed Kopopo until I can get confirmation he sells the soup.
If you use this in an exp pt, jesus will grab a sword and behead you grandpa in the past, thus ensuring your defect on society never comes to play.
Decent guild point item.

I recently synthed a dozen of these for Guild Points. I HQ'd about half of my synths and only got normal egg soup, so either they've changed it so there no longer is an HQ version or requires HQ #2 or #3 for it to be humpty soup.
Same here, Hq'ed half of them and only got egg soup. Also, both Kopopo and Chomo Jinjahl had this available for 2475 gil.
Edit: I didn't test this but I'm thinking that Hq comes from lizard egg recipe only?

I dunno why you're not getting skillups at 54, but I was making this, this morning for today's Guild Points (annoying black pepper, none in stock >( All the way to Bastok). Anyways. I'm at 55, skilled up .1, Lightsday night, or Darksday early dawn I forgot.
Are we SURE the bird eggs cap at 57? I just did approximately 24 synths with my cooking mule (cooking 54, iceday, Facing NW for 12, then face W for 12), and got no skillups whatsoever. Oh yeah, Waxing Gibbous Moon at 76%.
You'd think there'd at least been a .1 skillup for all this.
EDIT: Clarification: No support, no guild items for cooking skill either.

Does the black pepper make this synth very costly to skill up on? I'm at level 51 and so far it seems there's no way to get to 55 without loss. Any idea on how much you can NPC these for?
They NPC for about 300 gil, max fame.

I dont know if this is the right lvl cap. I am a lvl 53 cook, I just got all the ingredients (fyi Black Pepper is not cheap) Ive made it 9/9 without a skill up yet. It was on the 10th try that I got a 0.1 skill up. Does earth day affect skill ups?

The +1 of this food is Humpty Soup. I still have it in my inventory, but I haven't eaten it yet, so I have no idea what it does.
I'm assuming it's something as equally useless as Egg Soup.

Humpty Soup is NOT the +1 version of this. I HQ synthed at least twice in 12 synths and got 2 HQ synths. Both resulted in standard "egg soup."
Actually, it is. I made a bunch of these for Guild Points, and in my time, I got the HQ animation on about 6 of them. 5 of those times, I got egg soup. One of the times (ironically, the first time) I got the HQ animation, and a bowl of humpty soup.
Conclusion: Humpty Soup is its HQ, but it takes a HQ2 to make it.
Now if only they were valuable enough to use to be worth that effort! Regardless, excellent for GP ups as long as you have an elshimo vendor to get the pepper from, as it is too expensive otherwise (tenshodo shop in jeuno 400+ each, gardened stacks ~4500)
