I didn't test it out after that...but I would think that it would only give a .1 if it was CAPPED at 34. =)

You can dynth silent oil x2 Water Crystal, Olive Oil, 2x Beeswax. you'll have to sell it on AH and it's a loss, but you can skill up with this one from 25-29.

i made sairui-ran until 28. it costs a lot to make, but you can recover your costs easily.

I made eye drops until 30, the arihman tears are pricy, but buy you can sell the drops to the guild for around 582, and to regular npcs for 492 or so. you lose money, but its not that bad.

Unless you were pressed for space I would save them for AH, where you can double your money back. :)
Unfortunately on my server, Eye Drops often sell for 7k/stack, while the guild will pay me 6,996/stack. The guild only buys 15 per day though.
The level section is what is required to produce it, not to be able to make it perfectly each and every time...

I don't think the level on this recipe is correct. With 25 skill and advanced imaging, I am failing this recipe over 50%. It feels more like a level 30 craft to me.

If the recipe was incorrect, you wouldn't be allowed to attempt it in the first place.

Prism Powder is made from Light Crystal + Artificial Lense + 2 Glass Fiber Loops. It yeilds 6/8/10 depending on synth and levels up in the late 30's (36-40 I'd assume)
So many sites have this incorrectly. There is NO such item as Ariman's Lens (only his Tears drop). If I wouldn't have checked the NPC's at the Alchemy guild during my late 30's I would have never seen this correctly stated recipe.

There is a prism powder synth that caps at 36. Recipe:
Light Crystal
1x Ahriman Lens
2x Glass Fiber
Just because it's EX doesn't mean it can't be synthed. However, you are going to have to go farm them if you want to use this recipe.

There is an ahriman's lens. It is used for a quest in Jeuno. forgot what the quest's name is, but it's one of the two fortune teller quest.

It's Ex, hence not tradeable. It is used in an alchemy recipe to make prism powder, there are two recipes for prism powder - one uses the artifical lens, the other uses the ahriman's lens.
Other recipes use rare or rare/ex items too, such as 2-leaf mandragora buds and yuhtunger sulfer.
Yea, this is similar to the synths that use Dhalmel saliva and Yutunga sulfur, both EX items.
The Ahriman Lens has two uses. One is the above-mentionned Lower Jeuno fortune-teller quest (drop the Lens into a pool in Shakarami to turn it into a Divination Sphere). The second quest is in Windhurst on top of one of the ministeries in Windhurst Waters with the telescopes.
I think its used in making prism powder but not sure how correct that is.
