I have to say this was such an annoying NM. I'm SO happy now I could cry. I have lost so much sleep trying to get him based off not so accurate ToD hearsays from several people. I had one accurate ToD from just after the last maintenance by my best friend. I couldn't touch it for several days, so I had to try a rough estimate.
Believe me. Staying in one spot focusing on a spinning room for 11 hours straight on the first day to get no pop was bad enough. I had to stop from pure mental exhaustion. All of hte following days I played off either hunches or hearsay from people whom I saw in the room. I was staying up for long hours again and finally saw it popped, only to be outclaimed from someone's Chi Blast. Sooo close. I had stayed up all night and up to the pop time of 09:38. I went to bed angry and exhausted...again.
So. Tonight....er...morning (?) I made it there just 1 minute before the 3 hour window. No one was there. o.o No one. Wha??? I couldn't believe it either! So. I dilly dallied around. Killed the stroper for poops-n-geeguls. And 5 minutes later....hey....there's Morbolger...
!!! RUN YOU IDIOT!!
I voked him and made him suffer a horrible 30 seconds of focused rage. FINALLY.
Perserverance pays off on this one. Good luck to any of you who need it.

have killed this NM 3 times, obviously dropped on all 3, i didn't know what it was for so I just dropped them... ALL ;_;. Now that I want to level MNK, I need it >_<;

doing my quest for black belt. but as a requirement i need this one out of the way. bought my brown belt so when i get it i make some gil too ^^ my question is, how badly is this guy over camped by RMT... i mean. brown belt is a pricey peace and i could see those tarts after him, i found a unique way of getting the TOD, i stand there AFK when not camping... and when i see that somebody has killed it, (its best to have your LS unequipped) i count the conquest updates, (1 hour in between each) and to the nearest blaze spikes which is about 10 per each 2 of blaze spikes. found this info earlier in the forms) so 4 updates with 8 blaze spikes before your afk and next update, and 4 blaze spikes after you get back from AFK would be around 5 hours, if you see his death 2 blaze spikes into the first update you see when you went AFK its about 50 min after you went afk, as long as nobody kills the gobbys you have a nice timer to go buy,

i think it drops 100 percent in ksnm so saves you from camping him.

How to get to Morbolger:
Enter Ordelle's Caves at the standard entrance near Rescue Drill. Head down to I-5. You will change maps.
Head down to I-9, map change again.
Down to I-11/12, fall down the hole. Head east, map change.
Hug the left wall until you reach a big room, this is the Molborger room.
If this helps you rate me up, I'm tired of being gray ^_^

Good luck to anyone trying to get this, it certainly isn't easy but its not impossible. Morbolger himself isn't that difficult the only thing that is annoying is the competition for claim and the spawn time, we can thank our lucky stars its a 100% drop =)
Just helped my friend get it recently, I'm gonna give it a shot someday after maintenance. Best of luck to everyone!
