if you have a lot of time to burn and/or there are no parchments on AH then desynth these... its the best way (except time loss) and by time loss i mean a couple hours.
#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 21 2005 at 3:12 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I read this forum and I was like, "AH SWEET I DON'T HAVE TO PAY AS MUCH!!" and then went to bastok as level 0 Woodworker, and got 2 parchment with, 1 maple lumber and I was like. "..." and then, "KICK ***!!!" and that is my story.

hello, just thought id put in my 2 cents here...
currently 73.8 <woodworking> started desynthing these since lv 69...needed parchment for skillups and decided to try this out. With mog enhacncement: desynthing i would do runs of 16stacks of lighning clusters <2keach>. Parchment cost around 20-23k depending where sold at, normally ended up with 5-6stacks nice amount of gil, normal is parchment hq1 is parachment and hq2 is maple lumber, but except to fail alot, the profit i normally get on avg. is 60-70k per run so its worth it if u have time and cant figure ur servers market out. For best results craft on ligtningday and lightsdayi always had a before desynth percentage during thos times, thats my 2 cents and i hope for the crafters out there this helps

What a cruel twist of fate. I'm level 56 woodworking, so the last three times I've desynthed this I've gotten maple lumber, too. Who would have thought I'd be too HIGH to craft something.

seems like the better option would be to desynth flutes into parchment. I wonder how much flutes go for at AH.

Wishful thinking
# Mar 08 2004 at 6:15 AM Rating: Default
wishful thinking indeed.... well, depends on your definition of "easy find." AH is always a choice.... but since parchment is also required for BRD adv. job quest, the price varies from server to server, but generally no lower than 1k... or you can have lvl30+ in leatherwork and attempt to make this yourself.... "easy" or not, guess you draw your own conclusion
in search of parchment...

Since the flute is able to be made by such a low level crafter and can be used by lvl 1 Bards, shouldn't parchment be easy to find? Or is that just wishful thinking?

Here's how!
# Feb 29 2004 at 6:53 AM Rating: Default
Flutes are made in Woodworking. They can be made with Maple Lumber and a piece of Parchment. Sometimes when you craft something, the item comes out better! This is usually marked with a +1. This doesn't happen alot in the early levels of crafting, but as your crafting becomes better that'll start to happen more often. Hope that helps! =D
