Yup, nothing like waiting 2 hours then finding a bunch of clannies lvl 40+ kill the monster in half a second.
They need to fix that about the game, definately. Shouldn't allow this inane bull-crap going on.

last i checked, first one to attack the mob is the only one that can fight it and get the treasure. So anyone and everyone has equal chance to get it. Just have to be quickest at jumping on it.

Don't bother going after this until you're level 60 or so, because that's what all your competition is going to be. Doesn't matter how long you wait, or how fast you are, someone with 50 levels on you will run in and target it quicker. I sure hope when I'm level 60 I'm not so desperate for a friggin' newbie mantle.

It doesn't matter what level you are. The only difference that would make is how long it takes you to kill it. My suggestion is to not worry so much about it and when you have an opportunity to go to the tomb at a non-peak time, do so. I was there last night and was the only one for the entire spaw period. I was there again this morning with one other and we split the two so IMO all is fair you just have to use some brains and have patience.

i spent 2 hours there standing by the tomb waiting for spook to pop. I was only one there but come night time here comes lvl 50+ run in and kill the spook till morning then they run off and do other things in zone, i wait another whole day and sure enough come night time here comes all the 50+ ppl. When i got to the tomb there was a party of two killing the spook, so i sat down and didnt try to attack it and let them have it just waiting for them to leave. But some ppl are just idiots.
LOL ... it makes them idiots because they didnt spend all game day waiting for a mob that only pops at night? Good one ~.^

The mantle is dropped by the spook in Ranperres Tomb. The Tomb is in H10 on the map. The spook comes out at about 21-2 that Ive seen so far. It spawns with 3-4 enchanted bones with it. Ive only seen the spook spawn the the far back right of the tomb. The spook is easy prey as a lvl 15 yet has a move called drain which drains for 57 health (thats all Ive seen so far, not sure if it can drain for more). So far I havent gotten the mantle, so I would bring a high lvl theif there and try to go for it.

It is a Rare drops from a Spook at King Ranperre's Tomb. Go to the tomb and wait till night. Spook and 4 enchanted bones spawn at 20:00 to 21:00. Have fun... Suggest bring a thief with a treasure hunter skill e.g. lvl 15 THF
