YEP... I was at Fanfest when they reveiled the Hidden effect, ACC and EVA are supposed to greatly increase when you eat a pamama... this is actually a great piece of armor... i wear this instead of a Jujitsu Gi, because of the ACC, ATTACK, and EVASION it gives
To be honest when I play nin I try to pile as much eva gear as I can. Having shadows is nice, but until you get Ni shadows Double Attack can leave you very valnerable. Also, after that update on nin, shadows getting hit causes you to lose hate little by little (so I've heard) So to not get hit is the best way to tank as nin (my opinion). I do have the Nanban though and I use it in a macro with berserk, then do my WS macro, and lastly I tap my Attack macro which includes me equiping all my EVA gear. I mean If you really dont have the space or money to hold on to your lvl 25 Federation body gear then hey sell it and use your nanban. It has a better defense then the lvl 25 gear as well. All and all my suggestion is to macro Nanban for WS.
Please excuse my spelling and grammar errors. I'm at work and quite frankly I don't really care. Hope this info was helpful.
I would take evasion over attack any day. To this day (75 Ninja) I take evasion over anything. I have maxed skill +10 evasion skill +75 or more evasion and merits. You can't die if you don't get hit.
off topic...but i like that signature...even though it means my ex girlfriend and cousin are gonna both live forever @.@;;;; *starts preparing his bunker* gonna be in there a loooooooonnnnng time.........

Posted:Jan 22 2006 at 9:34 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) All this talk of trading... stacks this... bananas that... That is not helpful information for those of us who wish to fight it. Please post WHERE to trade, WHAT to trade, and WHAT to trade TO please. I feel that information will be somewhat more helpful than the posts that I have read on this thread.
Since nobody has posted this yet I decided to try and translate "Nanban Kariginu".
Nanban in its literal meaning is "Southern Barbarian"
Kariginu: was a traditional hunting garment later worn in religious ceremonies.
So in rough translation it means something like "Barbarians Hunting clothes" or "Hunting Clothes of Southern Barbarians".
Note: this is only a rough translation and I know very little about the Japanese Language. If I have mistranslated please feel free to post a correction.
Also Note : The Language these words come from is Shinto and They came from the Sengoku(year unknown by me) and Heian period (794–1185)
I think you can only trade at night, and I tried today at lunch time (nighttime in ffxi) 4 stacks no pop. Going to try again when I get home after work.
I went to kill this NM with my wife once I hit 70WHM/BLM... I thought to myself well if it drops an item thats LvL 30 it shouldnt be so bad, I WAS WRONG... I witnessed my wife go down at LvL 58RDM/NIN, I was 70WHM/NIN <~ Just for Kicks.. Well lets just say that when I was ow I used Bene and I hat it at 1/16 of its health and ****er hit me for 129 Critical and We both lost... so I think hes got to be atleast LvL 50+ thats my experience... :p
-this fight was cake... 63thf/nin with a 62rng/nin... while i was waiting for a slugshot from the rng so i could DE and get all the hate onto myself (as thf could easily solo) rng gets killed by some move thus giving me the hate i so wanted from the begining... bloody bolts kept my helth... he died relatively quickly... rng got his new armor and i got a good laugh...
