Description
Southern San d'Oria District is home to a bustling merchant community, where all manner of goods and armor are sold and bought. Also, the southern auction house and Leathercraft Guild can be found here. Other than merchants, adventurers can also find the housing of San d'Oria residents in various back alleys.

Ok I have gone around South San d'Oria and found 3 Wells so far. One by Chocobo stables, one by Grand manor in the west, and one in E-7 by guy that says he needs a Revival Tree Root... any idea what the wells are for or are they just for show? Tried throwing gil in (trading gil to it) but nothing so far... any info for this puzzle (if it is a quest) would be helpful. Thanks

Does any one no were i get the guys sword for rank 2 mission 1. Its the one were you have to go to la thein and find the ingered guy then get him his sword well i cant find his sowrd. May any one be so kind as to tell me were i get it from thank you.

THE SOLDIER AT THE INTRANCE TO THE AREA HAS IT NOT AT THE TOP BUT HALF UP THERE IS A SOLDIER TALK TO HIM HE WILL GIVE YOU HIS FRIENDS SWORD

Has anyone had this problem? I built my character up to lvl 18 so I could buy a new sword. But now when I go to South San O'dria to buy it they don't have any weapons in stock even close to my level. Anyone know what to do about this?

I've heard once you reach level 20 and have the crystal someone here can teleport you to the cragg in la thine plateu.. where the heck is this person?

it seems like SE is trying to test me on my paitence, as i keep dying by UBER strong rabbits that say easy prey, and they pwn like "Impossible to Gauge". im only lvl 8, and im trying to get to about 11 so i can use some new armor i bought and complete a mission...not to mention, GET OUT OF SANDORIA!!!!....im tired of the bagpipes...
gotta love this city. whats ur favorite thing to do in sandy.mine is stand around the AH and sit on little tarutarus

don't worry ur off to a good start i started with 0 gils and now i'm a 45 pld with great armor u'll meet good freind and they will help u i'm sure
farm dark crystals off funguars in east and west ronfaure, they range 4-6.5k a stack, for lvls 5-10. lvl1-5... well farm rabbits for hides, they are about 4k a stack.

Is a chocabo when not many people are rideing within the budget of a new player with a low level? because i really want to ride a giant chicken! lol around how much when not many people rideing?

The price is only depending on offer & demand. More and more people use chocobo, the more expensive it's gonna be.
well it depends what lvlv you are, you cant just ride a chocobo at lvl 1. You have to do the chocobo quest in Jueno beofre you can even pay for one. but if you did the quest, the price can vary from as low as 70 to as high as 500 in sandoria.
and at times, 1k+ in jueno or at crags

There is another map seller in South San d' Oria. The seller's name is Viollte (sp?) and she is located at G-10, near the West Ronfaure gate.

Hey its Caddar from what ever server u start in...(doh) If your ever in south sandoria i have a casino open from 4-6 eastern time on weekdays and from 8-2 and 4-7 on weekends. if im ever on say hey!

How much gil is it to ride a Chocobo?
It depends on how many people are on chocobos at that time. If not a lot are on, then it costs little, and vice-versa.

Actually, it's the other way around. If demand is high (when both the US and Japanese players are on around 11), then the price is high. If the demand is low, then the price is low. This is simple economics that they've incorporated.

Actually Has little to do with number of people on either. Has to do with Demand from that chocobo stable, you can see this by getting a chocobo cost from each of the three floors in jeuno and then riding out on the cheapest one. all of the zones entering jeuno are near each other so getting a chocobo in port jeuno then going to rolanberry is really easy and worth a few gil for the extra steps. Another example of this if the cost of chocobo from smaller towns like khazam norg raboa which are normally less then 200gil each. If the price of chocobos is high (sometime up to 2.6k at the crags on the weekends) then either use chocobo tickets which can be purchased cheaper or quested when available, or walk. Walking will reduce overall costs for everyone and should be contagious. I see people buy a chocobo to go from mea crag to maze of shak which is like a 2-3minute walk and spend over 1k to do it. I also recommened going to dem and walking to the dunes if you are choosing between holla or dem since the walk is more direct and you will spend less time in zone. Besides if you walk you can kill all those nice mobs you pass on your way to destination and make some gil in the process.

Where you turn in your coupon is different for everyone (possibly related to class/race)? You can't just ask a random person where to turn it in, you had to pay attention towards the end of the intro-cutscenes.
You can also go into /map and go into markers and its added on your map=)
Also there is a guy who you can get a quest of that is not listed around E:6, incase anyone wants to write it down and submit it!
