Byrnie's has alotta good stats to add onto paladin, i just bought the NQ version myself since there were no HQ's at the time. Not only does I tank better with it on, i also look good while doing it. PLus you can use this for other jobs once your done with paladin so its a godd investment. I bought it for 6,900,000 on lakshmi server.

Some PLDs will also use this (or standard NQ Byrnie) over our Gallant surcoat. The only stat our AF has that this doesn't match or beat, including Defense, is Enmity+2. But I think most PLDs after 50~ish can tell you that with a Life Belt and a good collar, such as Royal Guard's collar, for Accuracy, and with naturally high STR, that 25 ATK could do a lot for hate. And it's really 27 ATK, to nitpick. 2 STR = 1 ATK. With Enmity on the rest of our AF and other pieces, this would be especially potent for hate on VT~low-IT. If only I had the gil... But I still need to get my surcoat.

On Shiva server this goes for 5x more than NQ, which is only 2.3mil. I don't understand why it should cost 10.3mil for the +1 even though the stat boost is nice.
On a sidenote I see a lot of PLDs use the NQ version and thats about it. Some Mithra DRKs use it since the -dex isn't going to hurt them too much. As a DRK I'd probably only use this if I had Peacock Charm to compensate for the lack of acc on this.

On Garuda right now it costs 7x as much and sells irregularly. 15mil vs. 1.9mil
This synth can be tier 2ed, right? Every other site has it listed as level 34 smithing sub.
So if you get level 97 Leathercraft, all 3 items. (100 skill total)
Level 62 smithing, advanced support. (65 skill total)
Hell, that leaves you with a level left over!

Nevermind, just realized why. For some reason, Behemoth Hides are still 4mil on my server, which brings the ingredient costs up to around 4.4mil. That makes the NQ about 2.5mil loss. With a 30% HQ rate, and investing 44mil in ingredients, you'd theoretically get 3 HQs
Under the current economy, that's 45mil (from the HQs) + 13.3mil (from the NQs), or 14.3mil profit. Not bad. Judging by this though, I'd guess that the deflation since August, our last sale history, would cause the price of HQ to drop even more. Probably to around 12mil. That would reduce the profit margin to ~5.3mil. Still, 5.3mil profit from 10 synths isn't bad by my book, but if you happen to go 2/10 instead of 3/10, that's loss.

Necrocousa, what kind of warrior at level 60 is tanking? No. They want to deal damage, not pretend they can take hits. Which would deal more damage...STR+5 ATK+25...or Enmity+8? Hmmm...
