I was really hoping this was for a quest but it turns out it's for prisoners or something. I picked it up in mamook during a party the other week. I don't do assualt or what ever it is to release prisoners that were taken from besieged. I love quests. :(
I will have to look into this a bit more later this week. I need to start doing things other then exp. EXPing 24/7 is starting to wear me out.

Beat a Mamool Ja Bounder near the main entrance to Mamook in Wajaom Woodlands by sleep/nuking it. I'm a level 70BLM, and my enfeebling magic is one level shy of the cap. It resisted a few of the miscellaneous enfeebles, like Bind or Paralyze, but never resisted Sleep II.
When it fell, I received 184exp ( Sanction bonus included ), a Beastmen's Seal, and this key. So, it drops outside of Mamook as well as inside. ^^
I think this is for the prisoners..
Close, the Blackscale key is for prisoners, this one is for unlocking the doors along the way to the area where you fight for the Astral Candescence. Course, it could also be used if you just wanted to enter the deeper part of Mamook for some reason, I suppose.
