Checked the AH for a new dagger to use when I headed to Kazham...had one in stock so I snatched it up. I <3 this thing and now have my weapon for many levels to come. I think I paid around 50k for it on Remora.
I'm pretty sure the skill cap on this is 20, and not 26. I was able to HQ it about 50% with 71 Smithing. (51 tier)

i have 2 for my THF031/NIN015.. it would be cool if someone would tell me a BETTER dagger before the AF one at 40....without those dumb "in a area ur nation controls" or whatever...sells for 50-60k each on Seraph
I got this for thf yesterday...GREAT weapon and im aware that it is the best dagger class weapon for a while. If you are like me(poor) I found someone to craft one for me. The HQ rate of this synth is high so that could be a good way to go. BTW 80k on asura :/

Bought this at 25 for my BRD. I didn't realize at the time that it is NOT just "pimp gear." On the contrary, at least for BRD, it's the best dagger available for at least SIXTEEN levels (when I can get AF1, Paper Knife), and even then this may still be my best dagger option.

Is it just me or have any of you noticed that this knife has a hidden stat of causing poison? I have never seen anything in my chat log saying that is causes this but I do have alot of my filters on. I have noticed mobs dieing when I was between hits and my chat log will say "Goblin Whatever is no longer poisoned". Am I dreaming or does a really good THF knife become better with a hidden stat? Well I hope some of you have seen this as well and I am not dreaming.
If you did the ws Wasp Sting that causes poison, so does Viper Bite. I dunno if that's why.

I need a pair of federation knives for my thf, and im on kujata. If anyone can make a pair or maybe sell me theirs id really appreciate it. Ill pay AH price for it or a synthers fee. Send me a tell! My mules are Crayons and Susuke if im not on.

smithing level for windurst knife is around 15-16 i just crafted one. so i imagine the FED is higher and i took me several days to find\buy from AH.
This item can only be aquired through crafting. The Federation Knife is the HQ version of the Windurtian Knife which is crafted using the following recipe:
Skill Cap: 20
1 X Fire Crystal
1 X Iron Ingot
1 X Mercenary's Knife (Windurst Conquest Item)

29k? It's at 50k on Fairy, and Federation Kukri is 60k
I paid 29k Gil for this knife on Phoenix Server. I was only able to find 1 after about a week of searching.

How can you get this other than buying it from the AH.If you can synthesize it, get from conquest points, or get it from a store. unless someone from the Valefor server wants to sell it to me. (I'm found anywhere from Sandoria to Selbina and maybe even in Bastok but barely)
How much do this knife cost in your server ?
This item is crafted from the Windurstian Knife... smithing skill and fire crystal. I don't know what level smithing is required.

Anyone know where this item originates? It sounds like a CP item, but I've only ever seen other people selling them at AH's.
This dagger is great, good dmg for its level...wont need to get a new dagger till 34 or so. It can get pricey though

Actually, the blue background just means it's the equivalent of a "+2" item. You can buy Potion +2 from the Alchemist Guild in Bastok, and it has a blue background

it is only player craftable (hence the blue background) - only seen it in stock in jeuno so far..costs about 40k

the discryption says its Ranged Attack: 5 but its actualy just "attack+5"

Anyone know where this comes from? Is it crafted, dropped, or bought with conquest points in one of teh cities?
