i soooo badly want one for my whm, but as bastok is nearly always in 3rd now days i cant get it.....i didnt know that u could get it til i see ppl with it equipped so i went and bought a "holly staff" im so stupid (-.-) *slap myself*

hehe looks like ill have to make a trip over to bastok to get this one cheap :) as 12 BLM in windy it didnt even show up on the AH :)
this is an amazing staff for lvl 10-20 mages since it has great mp and hp boost but nlike the leggioners axe if u r trin to sell it at a store it sucks cause they only give u around 150-250 gil for it when a ane sells for about 512 but still its great
y is it called a Legionares Staff and it cant be bought from the guard? like ex. Legionares Scythe, Legionares Harness, Legionares Cap, etc. plz some one hep me out, and btw, my LS buddy bought it for me for 3k ^^ not 5k or higher YAY! im currently using it with my SMN, cause of the GREAT MP boost! YAY! ^^

If Bastok is in last place for the Conquest ranking, this item won't show. Bastok needs to be at least 2nd. A similar rule applies for the Scythe... Bastok must be in 1st.
If Bastok is in 2nd or 1st on your world and you still don't see it, make sure that it's not on another page... there are times when the items of one rank span over more than one page. "Next" or "More" or something should show on the list.

This weapon is great! It looks great, give you +6 mp and hp wich is great and does a decentamount of damage considering the other weapons i can choose from at my level (blm 12) I bought it at the auction house for 5900 gil but it waswell worth it.

I got mine at the AH for 5,000. I'm so glad i bought it, its a great staff. (not to mention it looks cool.) but i was wondering if this staff is conciderd rare to other people, because ive only seen like 2 other people that have this staff. I just wanna know cause i think it would be cool if i had a staff that alot of people want but dont have. not to be mean, lol its just that alot of people say i suck on my server and i wanna rub it in their face!!! not realy

The staff, like some items, won't be available for purchase with conquest points if Bastok is in third, and possibly second. I bought mine from the guard while Bastok was in first. As for turning them into Bastokan Staves, supposedly it can be done, the recipe on this site says you do it by adding a brass ingot with a fire crystal to this. I tried it and even got a goldsmither to try it but it didn't work, so it would seem the recipe on this site is incorrect.

I've seen on a few sites that this can be crafted into a Bastokan or Republic Staff which are level 13 and 14. I found the data in the files but I can't find a recipe for it. Anyone got any clues?

I've been able to find Legionnaire stuff by spending conquest points with Gaurds in Bastok but this particular piece doesn't seem to be available through them. Was wondering if this is dropped by a monster or maybe the list is affected by the conquest rank of Bastok???
bastok has to be 1st to get this and the scythe i know for sure. if there are others i'm not entirly sure. it's a rank 1 1000cp item that can only be purchased when bastok is in 1st place.

The guard near north gus gives you the option of buying it using conquest points. just choose the rank 1 items and scroll down!

i think there must be some qualification... like bastok needs to be in first place. because on the ragnarok server, no matter which guard i go to (and scroll down while looking at the rank one items) you can not purchase the legionaire's staff from any of them.

I just bought mine at the auction house for about 6k gil which isn't a bad deal seeing as how awesome this staff is. I'm currently a lvl 14 Taru Blm Sandoria Valefor.
