For all the old messages concerning evasion vs. evasion skill: Evasion skill is far more effective then just evasion.
I don't know what's up, but I put my Master Caster's Mitts on in Jeuno today, with sanction, not signet, on and I receieved +10 EVA skill. I've put my mitts on with signet before and received no bonus in Jeuno. I've never received a bonus from anywhere when I had sanction on. However, if this isn't some programming error, that's exactly how it should be! Say hello to THF with EVA skill above 300! (with both this and the Boxer's mantle and Evasion torque that is)
Anyone tried to buy these mitts as a citizen of a higher ranked nation? I know the selection is sometimes limited when you do this.

To answer my own question, yes Bastok and San d'Oria people can get this when they rank higher than Windurst in exchange for 48,000 CP. \^.^/
A convenient place to do this is at the Windurst Embassy in your home city.

Nice glove. Too bad it work outside of own nation. If ninja could equip it, it would be great!

These gloves do in fact give you Evasion Skill +10... making the best CP evasion gloves you can get. For those who don't really understand, which i didn't before i got them...
when you have a signet, and you are outside of you nations control, you can actually check you evasion skill level in your combat stats and the skill is 10 higher... not like emp. pin which give 10 evasion.
However, i don't really know what 1 evasion skill point equates to in regular evasion bonuses...
btw, they are windurst rank 8, and they are EX, not Rare.

I don't remember where I read this, but apparently evasion skill is slightly less effective than normal evasion+ equipment. Still, these are really awesome gloves and I'm saving up my conquest points for them (15k to go... /sigh).
I haven't seen for myself, but I have heard that this is not evasion +10, but evasion skill +10.
Random question here, but what's the difference? :/
the agi +2 and evasion +10 are only in effect when outside your nations control.
You must also have Signet on.
