Northern Fur  

Muzaffar in Norg gives you the Black Market quest and asks you to give him either 4 northern furs, four pieces of eastern pottery, or four southern mummies and in turn he gives you gil in return.

What are these for? They are sold quite often in Jueno for 1k, so there must be a reason

thanks for the head up ill sell mine in bastok then. this is yet another good reason to farm giga's :-) i got this while leveling my leveling up my 27 bst for the first time tonight, once i reach lvl 35 im going to go back as a bst/thf and farm them.

If you're looking or fame in Norg don't bother with these, sell them in Bastock or San D'Oria for 2000+ and use the money to buy zinc instead (don't sell in Jeuno, it's cheaper because the tower is right there). I turned in four of these in Norg (he wants set of four) and there was no visable increase in fame. The price of rice balls in the Neptune's Spire goes down as your Norg fame increases, it didn't budge when I turned in four furs while it always went down when I turned in zinc (in case your interested, I was able to get the scroll quest when the price of rice balls was at 156 gil)
