Hello there. I want to begin my saving on these bills. Can you tell me a common place, where people sell them in Bazaars? Didnt see anyone in Jeuno so far. Maybe i'm just blind...Thank You in advance
Many people afk bazaar in the areas just outside Jeuno such as Batallia Downs or Rolanberry Fields (usually not Sauromugue though). They do this since you can evade the Jeuno tax on bazaaring.
So we got a person who is bring Gilsellers into Dynamis on Cait sith named Ryudo. They are trying to sell currency for 50k per single unit and 5mil per 100 unit. Well I guess Relic weapons will become harder to get if you plan on buying currency from these FOOLS.
by the way...
THIS IS STUPIDITY!
Considering if your going to sell them for that much why buy it when EVERY ONE ELSE sells for 15k??????????????????? Really its pretty stupid
Jump on the band wagon if your on cait sith!
DO NOT BUY OVER PRICED MONEY
chances are they are being sold by gilseller mules and/or Ryudo's henchmen.
Just like to point out on the Romra server that my caracter is called Ryudo and I am no way a gil seller, and I refuse to by gils online as it only incrages gils sellers to incress there price and keep them at it.
ppl don't buy over priced items, and if you need it and there is not to be found then seek out a crafter that will make it for you at the price of the ingredents and some gils for the trobble.
The goblins placed at the entrances to each of the three beastman's main headquarters serve as money changers for the currency relating to each currency/nation. For example, Beadeaux is for Bastok and Byne bills, Castle Oztroja is for Windy and Shells, and Davoi is for San d'Oria and Coins. For example if you have a stack off 99 coins and another coin, the goblin in Davoi will change it to a Montinot silver piece if u trade him the 99+1 coins. The reverse operation is also true if you need to break a 100 coin piece. The goblin will also sell you items in exchange for the ancient currency. In my experience these items are not worth the large amounts of currency needed to buy them from him.
Certain relic weapons drop from each of the 4 main cities (Sandy, windy, bastok, and jueno). In turn these relic weapons must go through numerous upgrades in order to be transformed into their final (and worthwhile stage). All of the relic weapons have an initial delay of 999 and damage of 1. These stats as well as the aditional comments on the item are imporved through successive upgrades. In order to upgrade your relic weapon you must talk to the goblin positioned just inside Castle Zvahl Bailey. For each upgrade he requires a commission in ancient currency (which increases drastically for each successive stage) as well as some items. The items are most often craftable items made from basic items dropped in dynamis such as lancewood and wootz ore. After your second upgrade, the goblin will ask for an attestation before you can procede with the upgrading process. These attestations are procured from Dynamis-Beaucidine NM's which must be spawned. Afer that little is really known or I am ignorant of.
I just posted this to shed some light on the subject and offer a basic understanding of the ancient currencies and the relic upgrade system. Each relic weapon is slightly different and different currency and item requirements are imposed on each weapon. Upgrading a relic weapon is a very long and arduous task and will for most of us take months and months to do. I am on my 4th month doing dynamis and I am only 1/3 of the way to my first upgrade.
According to what I've heard from the people who've been to Dynamis, the ancient currencies are used to trade with the NPC goblins in Beadeaux, Davoi and Castle Oztroja for items that are in turn used to upgrade the relic items (relic sword, gun, scythe etc.)
Byne Bills are drops of Dynamis-Bastok. Also, drops in Dynamis-Jeuno is a mixture of 3 currencies; Byne Bills (Dynamis-Bastok), Ordelle Bronzepiece (Dynamis-Sandoria), and T. Whiteshell (Dynamis-Windurst), which each represent 1 currency of each ancient currency. In addition, there are rare drops that represent 100 currencies (ie. 100 Byne Bills, etc.) that drops in each of the corresponding areas. I have heard reports that the ancient currency drops in Dynamis-Beausedine and Dynamis-Xarucabard are also a random mixture of three types of currencies.
Dynamis Currency can be traded to the Goblin Traders at the entrances to zones such as Davoi, Beadeaux and Castle Oztroja for some very very valuable crafting materials and equipment. From what I gather they're fairly common drops from the mobs in Dynamis (as compared to the lvl74 JSE).
Valor Coronet Drops In Dynamis-Bastok. Other PLD AF2 drops from other dynamis areas. Dynamis-Jeuno is the only Dynamis that does not have a PLD AF2 drop, at least none recorded.
I have a question about this currency though. It has been metioned that 100 1 Byne Bills can be traded to the gobbies as if it were a 100 Byne Bill. Is this true? And if so I know I need 4 M. Silverpieces to udgrade my Relic Sword but can I instead trade 1 M. Silverpiece and 3 stacks + 3 O. Bronzepieces to pay for my commission? Any knowledge on this is greatly appreciated.
I already have al the Items for my first upgrade I just need my Ancient Currency now ><
