I just passed this paralysis dust phase. I started out trying to get a hold of puffballs buying everyone i saw on ah and tried to farm them off walking trees in jugner with TH2. Drop rate was horrible. I was complaining to my LS when they told me the 3 eyed fish recipe. Idk about your server but in mine the fish were 2.5k each in jueno, and 4k in the outer cities. You get 2 dust instead of one. Use the three eyed fish recipe and you will break even if not profit a little bit when you sell potions and excess dust. I did dust to venom bolt heads, to potions. btw stack of potions sells for 19-22k and dust sells for about the same.

this thing is great to lvl to lvl 72 alchemy on i get tons of skill ups compared to spartan bullets. oh and i can confirm that it caps at 72

I'm not sure what crystal iDrewDogg was using, but i did Lightning+3eyedfish and got 2 paralysis dust. I was at 63 alchemy and failed several times. (4k for 1 fish with those failures=icky)

Opps... sry I didn't mean Lightning+3-eyed-fish = 2 puffballs. It is Lightning+3-eyed-fish = 2 paralysis dust. This has the same craft level requitments as the puffball decomposition. Sorry about the loses :o[

Puffballs are one of the nice things you can grow without using a crystal. ... free skill ups if you make tons of this (as long as you think ahead)

You can now synth 3-eyed fish into 2 puffballs. I did it at Alchemy 69. 2 success and 1 fail... no skill ups.
