So we got a person who is bring Gilsellers into Dynamis on Cait sith named Ryudo. They are trying to sell currency for 50k per single unit and 5mil per 100 unit. Well I guess Relic weapons will become harder to get if you plan on buying currency from these FOOLS.

im looking for a list of "added effects", i know the Apocalypse (fully upgraded relic scythe) has 25% hp drain and max damage break(means u can hit for like 500+ on normal swings) because someone finally got one on Pheonix. What i need to know is what are the hidden effects of this guy. MP drain? Avatar Perp -10? Magic Attack Bonus +9000 lol. all kidding aside, im a smn and dont wanna spend 500mil upgrading this thing if all it does is allow me to do a little more damage when meleeing (which as we all know isnt a smns job). Any help would be appreciated

I have searched both FFxi and mysterytour (confused by that site) to find out who I take my relic staff to to get the quest to upgrade him. Will any npc goblin in castles work or is there a special one. Also, what are the items needed to make these upgrades?

According to the Mystery Tour site, you need to trade your items and the Relic Weapon to Switchstix in Castle Zvahl
I got my Relic Staff last night. I need to upgrade it but it looks like there are a lot of very RARE items need to get it upgraded. i have no idea, Im only level 65 so I have plenty of time to research this weapon and upgrades.

I just wish someone who had it would spread all the info out onto a nice table for us to look at.

All relic weaponry is slowly upgraded over 4 stages into awesome weapons. They do not secretly become active in dynamis, the only thing that changes is they get a special ability while in dynamis. To upgrade them you have to trade certain items from dynamis to various goblins throughout Vana'diel. The relic staff is for BLM and SMN only. ALl relic weapons are job specific, for example, the relic scythe when finally upgraded become the much touted Apocalypse, usable by DRK only. Just to give you an idea, the Apocalypse makes the Death Scythe look like a level 1 club.
later after upgrading this it becomes the Claustrum

I think I saw a dagger that was like this. I think this weapon has hidden stats that only become active in dynamis.

I think some info is missing.. all i can say is that the relic items are considered AFII ... wish i could actually add something helpfull
