This ring is lv. 50 enmity-4 for just 8k IS, and the recover HP thing could save you some day if you're out of MP and poisoned and your HP is ticking down to 0. ROX0RZ! You can get this amount of IS from 8 Besieged or from 8 merits in TOaU zones. Amazing for any mage (or softy melees) job 50+.
The besieged: VIT+10 thing is pretty useless unless you're a Paladin 75 and plan on provoking, but it doesn't hurt to have it there either. ^^

But if you're not fast enough to put it on I see the following scenario.
Adventurer killing poisonous stuff...
*gets poisoned with low HP*
Adventurer: "Oh sh**! Where's that damn ring?!"
*scrolls through inventory*
*puts on Trooper's ring*
Adventurer: "OMG! Damn that 30 second use timer!"
*waits for use timer to run down while HP do so too*
*kills mob, still poisoned, HP deep deep red*
Adventurer: "HURRY!!! GDMNIT@!%&^^\!"
*dies*
*ring ready for use*
Adventurer: "..."
We all know how that is don't we? ^^

anyone know how much hp this recovers?
Gave me back 102 HP as a 72 WHM with 1071 base HP (was in Dynamis, if weather affects this).
