3K for one of the most versatile, and effective belts in the game. Man, this is a steal.
its cheap cuz it is dropped almost all the time from the ksnm u get it from
thanx to mercenary runs this belt has gone down to mils down to less than 10k hehe well i guess its more or less a good thing. i managed to get the heart snatcher twice...this belt and anubis dagger...all i wanted was teh senjuinrikio but noooo....i had to get the heart snatchers...twice.
Got this Durandal, and Hierarch belt all for under 20k on Lakshimi. I heart those ksnm even if I have gone 0/2 only getting 400k total. Best belt for pld in exp and possibly HNM if you need the enmity.

this wonderful belt is down to around 10-15K gil on Bismarck server.

If any DD is worried about using this belt for fear of drawing too much hate after a WS... don't be. Grab a THF as your SC closer. We actually PREFER you grab aggro with your WS, so we can slam the hate back onto the tank with a full SATA Shark Bite. Poof. No more enmity concerns.
Isnt Sharkbite an attack with water element like Red Lotus or Burning Attack is with fire? So it would not get the attack boost with SATA?
Nope, Sharkbite is a non-elemental 2x hit WS with a dex modifier, favored by many over Dancing edge because the need for acc equipment isn't as great and thus you can boost the WS and SA damage at the same time. DE also has a dex modifier, but it is so inaccurate (remember we're talking 5 hits here) that many choose to boost accuracy instead of dex to maximize damage.
People also prefer using shark bite in parties cause it closes light^^

Here is how my friends and I do it:
Setup:
Nin/war
Rng/Nin (me)
Sam/Nin
Rdm/Nin
Blm/Whm
Brd/Whm
Now here is what we do:
Blm goes in with ES+Sleepga 2. Ninja and ranger team up kill the one(if ranger team up with anyone else, he ends up tanking so nono). Samurai and Red mage both SOLO one. Brd and Blm keep the rest 3 sleeping.
Once Ninja and Ranger finish theirs, they continue to kill the rest. Samurai will finish his eventually.
We are 11/11 with this strategy. But 0/11 on vclaw...

It's a good thing this item drops from Operation Desert Swarm. Everyone and their dog is hiring BLMs to do this KS30 for them in the hopes of getting Venemous Claw, Damascus Ingot or Damascene Cloth. Other items like Warwolf Belts and Hierarch's Belts are flooding the market, and it's not unusual to see 15 of these being sold at any given time. This belt would probably cost over a million gil if it was from another BCNM, but I picked one up for only 200k.

This is one of the best belts in the game for many jobs and still costs only 250k...I do't get it. This item could sell for 1mil and still would be sold fast.
Because of this belt's name is there any kind of hidden effect? Like when there is a full moon?

[Please forgive me] i have to ask. Do you think the equip is good for DD's... the str dex and vit would already up the hate meter and with the additional enmity bonus this could non-benficial equip for DD's no?

Another equip for my Str set. Spike necklace, ruby ring x2, triumph earring x2, full hachiman armor, exept using myochin haidate, amemit mantle, and the warwolf belt. my base str is 68 and with all these equips thats another 38. 106 and throw in a sole sushi to make it 111. then let loose with a SATA Tachi: Kasha, which is damage based of of 75% of your total str. My dmg record is 1655 dmg to an IT hobgoblin agler in bibiki bay. my tp was at 140%. In short, i can defaniately recommend this to any sam. yeah the enmity+ is intimidating, but if you have the right setup (i would recommend macroing the belt in only) then you wont have to worry about hate being on you too long lol. Tachi: gekko works well with this setup too. It's based off of 50% of total str.

I would think (my opinion) if your high enough to use this belt, you would know if it's good or not for the job your using. I would probably use this for my WAR/NIN/THF...if I get any of those jobs that high. Since I'm only around lv.40, I haven't checked into the other items available at that level.
It is good equip for THF when using SA or SATA solo. Great, actually.

You'll have to make your own choice on whether this is a good belt for you. All i know is I am a Paladin and this belt is like a wet dream.

Hmm, I wonder if this would work. Have 30 Kindred Seals and get an orb. Hire out 4 high-level BLMs to do this BCNM without using any of their own seals for say 50k apiece. Quartermaster and get whatever drops, BLMs get 50k each for a few minutes work without having to use any of their own Kindred Seals.

You can do this BCNM with 4 black mages at lv 74 or 75. All you do is stand at the entrance and have them all cast a lv III aga spell (Thundaga or Blizzaga preferable). That should take them down to 1/2 health. Now sleepga II the scorpions as they rush towards you, run to the other side of the arena and repeat. They should be dead after the second casting of spells. I believe that at least 2 of the mages must be casting Thundaga III to do enough damage. But believe me it can be done. The current record on my server for the BCNM is 1:15 using that method.
Fight is {Easy Prey} with the right setup. Done 12/12 runs successful. Belt isn't rare drop at all and it shows price went from 1mil - 390,000g in about 2 weeks on Siren server. Gotten belt about 4/12 times only got claw 1/12.

you can get this item from one of the new bcnm uncapped quests, its, i think, 6-8 scorpions, some of my ls went and did it, they said they got 500-1mil each run..although tough fight

yea its from the new uncapped bcnm "Operation Desert Swarm". the fight is 6 scorpions that i hear are crazy hard to beat. but this bcnm doenst only drop this belt, but it also drops many other high lv crafting items like venomous claw (used in scorpion harness), damascus ingot (used in haubergeon), and damascene cloth (used in vermillion cloak) so if you have a job above 70 i recommend you try this. you can make alot of gil even if you only do one run
