Npc's buy them for 30gil each or so depending on fame (outposts seem to pay most) so if the stacks are going for less than 360 you can make money buying those out and reselling to vendor, this should adjust the cost for those who farm, and yet keep them cheap enough for potion makers ect. There are many items that are similar, which seem worthless but make a few gil, Yagudo feathers (10ea at vendor) Insect wings (20^vendor) Pugil Scales (24?vendor) rarab tails ect. all of these items can be used in some craft or quest so you could potentially farm them and sell on AH once the price structure is establised, and profit from those who AH cheaper than vendor until then.
this annoys me how these things are such a common drop from gustaburg lizards, yet they are required for such a high lvl of alchemy! It makes no sense!! I hate these things to death BTW.
