I i wash helping someone with their npc undead fight i did vorpal blade with 200tp and i am pld63/rdm31 and i took like its hp down 80% she was like WOW!!!! so thx to her i found a good spot for farming and a mob that drops a 70-90k drop what can i say helping says it well i am 1/1 on this nm andi just like farm eyes hect eyes 1.8k to npc and mercury 3.9k both stacks and thats it lol..........

Earring only drops from the Amenome in Eldiemme,and even then its a crappy drop rate.
Morbols hit hard regardless of lvl disparity,so its not surprisngly that even if it cons as too weak its going to hit you like a damn truck.
That and "Defense" in this game is worthless.

do these earings drop in yhoater jungle? Because thw Anemone here pop every 5 min, and ive been killing em alot lately, and never got a drop, just wundring if they do drop there

ok .. so far i know there's 2 spawn locations .. and since I killed it last night and the night before I have a ToD and can confirm the 21-24 respawn ...
... but the question is, is this like Enky where he pops at one of the two, or is there one of them for each location ?
both the above-listed kills were at the same location, and now it seems gilsellers have decided to chase him as well (goes for 1mil on my server), so it's no longer prudent to run back and forth ... since i doubt i'll get an answer tonight, i'm hedging my bet and camping the location he wasnt at the previous 2 nights, since i'll have an approximate ToD to work with tomorrow if he doesnt appear where i am tonight ...
I guess another question is, is there an (impossible to guage) version, because of the 4 kills i've had over the past month, all times he conned as (too weak)

update:
Figured out the answer to the first question after 2 more campings .. last night when I posted, I ended up running between the two spawn spots, and ended up getting to the one I wasnt planning on going to just in time to see it pop in front of the gilseller .. but that made three nights in a row at the same location .. I was beginning to think there was one for each spawn spot ..
Then tonight, I spent the entire window period back at the one where the gilseller was (and yes, of course he was there again) ... when Anemone didnt pop during the window, I left and went to the other spot - and there it was just waiting for me .. apparently the gilseller doesnt know there's 2 spots .. hope he spent the rest of the night waiting ..
... but this confirms that there is one Anemone that pops in one of the two locations every 21-24 hrs .. so far, I have yet to see an (impossible to guage) version - they've all been (too weak)
unfortunately, tonight's kill has only increased my oh-for rate .. now 0/5
in fact I have yet to get anything but a vine off him each time

Ok so what map does he pop? whats pos of the entrance to get to the pop? and whats his pos inside Eldieme Necropolis?

I beat this as a 60DRG/WHM (no wyvern out) easily.. you dont need to be a RDM or NIN against him. I have a screen shot. I was down there helping a BLM get his NPC when we saw Anemone. I got no drop and it dindt check as a NM. didnt need a single cure so hes not too bad.Good luck to all those who plan on killing it. Wish i had known he was there or i woulda /thf .

The first time I killed it, I checked back the next day and he popped at the 24th hour, to the minute, missed him next day, then killed it the next, I went to check today at what would have been the 20.5 hour, and he was already up, so I have no idea what the spawn window for this guy is, anyone know?

was walking around in eldieme and i found it so i killed, got earring first kill, sells 600K on leviathan^^
my first time fighting one of these and i got a avenger's earring from it. sold it for 350k

According to a THF who camps this in my LS all the time, the NM version of Anemone is in Eldeime Necropolis and is the only one to drop the ring, the Anemone Non-NMs in Yhoator Jungle DO NOT drop the ring.
Has anyone actually seen this item drop? me and a few friends hunted them in jungle and coundn't get a single drop. =/

Solo'd this guy as a rdm 56 / nin 15 can go either way though, i lost to him a rdm57/blm27, lol it's why i'm 56 now but no drops yet killed him 7 or 8 times so far

I beat this thing as 54mnk/15thf, had pretty good equip, two AF armor. Boosted to 500+ attack took of fang necklace Chi blasted it for 308 dmg, turned on dodge, focus and 100 fists. I had the upper hand until around the end of the battle when it did Bad Breath the paralyze basically killed my hundred fists, i was able to get in Raging fists and two more hits killed it. I ended up with 250~ hp after words the poison from bad breath took me down to 100
something. It was doing between 70-100 dmg on me it missed quite a few times and i countered several other times. It checked as Decent Challenge to me.
No drop though. I'll be back for it when my 2hr is up.

Lvl 60 rdm/blm in full AF with 2 Phalanx rings - Def = 321 with pro3. This thing was hitting me for 100-140 per hit Easy Prey my ***. Could of beat it with a convert but warped when my MP got down to 150. Would not recommed soloing these things pre-65 unless you are a RDM or NIN and like to take risks.

That's pretty funny, because i'm 56rdm/blm using RK Aketon and 3 pieces AF and def food (def 341 after Pro3) and it only hits crits on me for 82.

I've been skillin up dagger and sword and whatnot on these and the Goblins near Ifrit's cauldron entrance. They're all DC to me, only this one is a problem cause I cant drain for much.

what we need to know is if the ones in both areas drop the earring. it could be that only the higher lvl ones drop the item. it would also be great to know where they pop at!

He's not NM. I saw a bunch of them there yesterday. There is a NM, but it's not Anemone.

this thing is 250k on my server and i am not sure if this guys a NM or not some one gimmie some info might be good gor my WAR/MNK hehe
