Solo-ed him at Lv.30 with no problem. To be honest, I gave him my weapon without knowing that a monster would pop. So, I fought it without a weapon as a 30RDM/14WHM. Chainspell+Fire, and he was down pretty quick.

Got MP+3 and "Resist Poison"+1 on my sword.
